They had some grand prizes at other awards shows prior to MAMA (both for album and artist of the year), but they all really really wanted the Album of the Year MAMA award specifically.

He went on hiatus in 2019 for almost 5-6 months I think to receive treatment for anxiety. In the "Hit the road" documentary that was released in 2020, he has spoken about it.

He went on his latest hiatus for almost a year for his knee injury. During this time he released the song "Me." Coupsie has a constant anxiety of staying relevant in his career. I think that sentiment is common for members of any kpop group but he also missed out on a lifetime of group activities such as Nana Tour and his ability to serve in the military and other events. That's tough for him as leader and as a man in general. I'm sure his anxiety issue came back. But he is back now, and im sure he is fine. Carats will always be there to support our members. Just like we will when they each leave us for military service. Yea we will be old grandmas by the time they are 13 again, we will still be here waiting for them. If they can just each understand our commitment to them as a fandom then they should live freely without worry. I hope he is doing ok now. 🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷

‘Me’ was written when he was out for his ACL injury. At the time, the toxic people online were (and still are) saying the most outrageous things like he’s “evading” military service and call him a “coward” and a bunch of different names for not being able to enlist, when ultimately it’s not his choice… :( At the 2023 MAMA Awards, they won the Daesang for Album of the Year for FML. Prior to 2023, they previously won Daesang level awards at other Award Shows but winning one at MAMA is such a high career achievement and it was for Album of the Year, which is an even bigger deal!!! Their speeches were very heartwarming and they talked about how far they came as a group. I bring this up because just like what S.Coups said in this interview, Seungkwan also mentioned that they learn so much from all of their juniors and said that even though you may or may not have won an award that night, they all deserve a round of applause because being an idol is not an easy occupation. A lot of the idols were in their feels and were kind of taken aback by how real and raw but super respectful that speech was. They all knew that Seventeen deserved that award that night and the screen even panned to Eunchae crying. 😭 I just love how SVT are just so humbled and they never forget their rough beginnings as idols. This has been pretty long winded and I kind of just summed up a lot of stuff but you should definitely watch their 2023 MAMA award acceptance speech on your own when you can!

Eunchae has been very open about how she was and still is a huge fan of svt. She even confessed in front of Dino during his episode. Its just warms my heart listen to other idols' story on how they are such a big carats predebut to now, on how svt inspired them to be an idol, how svt's songs brings them comfort, or how they just casually watch going seventeen regularly because they adored svt. Even other senior idols, respected actors and celebrities who doesnt listen to kpop at all but loving them either because of their song or their personality have been proudly and openly said they love svt everytime they asked who are their favorite group. Top tier korean actress would say "i dont listen to kpop and i barely know boy group. I only know sebongs", senion actors who probably in their 50s and 60s, male and female, all would say they adore svt. I probably have commented about this before, but the facts that none NONE of the people svt have worked with saying one single sarcastic comment or showing no interest in giving their opinion about svt is just speaks volume. They would say how they anticipate working with svt the most because how down to earth and fun they are to work with even off screen. They always so disrespectful towards the staffs, and they always remember them. The staffs, pds, directors, etc. Always said how svt made them feel appreciated, and always acknowledge the staffs' hardwork. SVT is just genuinely filled with kind human beings ❤

me was released last december during his hiatus for the ACL injury, and we all criend in tl it was something special, he has been open about anxiety and he was in a hiatus about it back in 2019 so I think we can read a lot into the song.. and yeah that final line is so strong :( I hope he always receives all the love in the world! his star diary episode is so good I love it :( and yes eunchae is a baby she is 17 during that interview I think (and she is openly a carat she has said in interviews that it was seventeen that made her want to be an idol so I imagine she was extra nervous).. and yes seventeen are always so humble and they respect their juniors a lot :( as he said they can learn from then too. I've always thought about that too!. If they worry about losing their own identity and stuff. So when this song cam out, even though I secretly knew they are for sure struggling with that, him saying it out loud felt like a stab for me

CooksCoups' 2nd ep? Nah, there's still none... I can't remember if it's Wonwoo or Mingyu, but they already said "no" on having the show film in their home. So unless Cheol finds another place to film for this show, i don't think there'll benother ep. The members don't feel comfortable showing their homes. Even wvrse lives, Jeonghan & Seungkwan were the only ones who do it on their home (which was a previous svt dorm).
