Yup I met John in 2015 He is genuine and a great guy. He invited me to his house to drink a beer with him. Who does that? His video's are my weekly highlight and i Hope he will go on for years to come!

How do you guys not have more subscribers?!?

Kudos to Johnny for still interacting with the community like this. He is probably one of the few big RU-vidrs who will take interview requests from small channels. He did an interview with me when I was just starting out and it meant a lot. Still one of my favorite memories from my time on RU-vid.

Happy console gamer in my opinion is the top RU-vidr video game collector I enjoy his videos have been following him last 5 years or so. He's videos are fire cool to see him popping up on other channels !

HCG and Robman are the real deal, very passionate and best type of show. Very honest and brings in nostalgia. He also does have several anime episodes we need more.

Johnny is an inspiration to me. I am younger than him but in many ways we treaded along the same roads in life at times. I have definitely taken some shortcuts and often gotten completely lost, but Johnny inspires me to hold onto my passions as I go on, and use them as an anchor when needed.

New look is great and this was a fun interview. Absolutely love the talk about old school anime especially! You guys took me back and now I want to revisit some classic series, both good and bad--ha ha!

Dude it's so cool to hear how anime used to be . How it was like a underground handing out copied tapes . I was born in 93 so I grew up with the begining on toonami an the begining of Pokemon an DBZ dub in America like 2000. It still was not cool then but it would of been cool to be I those clubs an import games I never knew about all the Japanese exclusive games as a kid. Great interview!

Been a long time fan and for someone who is about to turn 40 this year,I am constantly inspired by Johnny to share my life long passion of video games and anime with others too. Growing up I didn't have people I could do that with outside of my brothers who are huge gamers too. I finally found my friends in high school that I could vibe with and also share that love of video games and video game music with and we still are friends to this day! Very happy to see this.

Great interview. Johnny is honestly not only my favorite gaming related channel, but perhaps my favorite channel of all time. I’ve been subscribed to him for 12 years (spanning back to my older account) and I really appreciate how he has, for the most part, stayed true to his channel. While everyone is chasing the algorithm and the newest trend, Johnny has remained steadfast in front of his game shelf. It provides a certain level of comfort when he posts his newest videos and I wish him nothing but success for both RU-vid and his personal life.

When i was a kid DBZ was new in the US and my brother and his friends got ahold of the Tapes that had subtitles. I remember being in like the frieza saga and them bringing home majin buu tapes in the late 90s and having no idea what was going on lol. I made them read the subtitles to me because I couldn't keep up with the subs because I was about 6 or 7 lol.
