Happy Dog has been doing a lot of promotions via Facebook past few months and so I wanted to see what their food was all about - and if it was worth it.
From the ingredients list on the back it seems they have skimped on what I would consider the most important section to get right and put more effort into the lesser ingredients which make them sound good. Although these ingredients still help towards a healthy dog it doesn’t make up the bulk of the percentage of the food, it may not even be present in every biscuit the dog eats.
UPDATE: I have been contacted by the Operations Director at Happy Dog to say that their food is of human grade quality meats and the reasons for their wording will be looked into. Their Meat meal is stomach meat (tripe) and it is used to keep minerals at optimum levels. Hydrolysed chicken livers are broken down to their basic components meaning they can be more easily absorbed and digested.
So some information I have given in this review video wont be accurate.
