All was going well and thought the day done when I hear Marty Yell.... "AW $#!% NOOOOO.... AWE, COME ON...!!!" Happy Easter ALL. and Thanks for joining in. Skip
My son just crashed his on the second flight. Just started going down no matter how much up he gave it. It was on safe at the time. How did you figure it was a bad reciever?
I know how that wind is all to well, it would be calm around my house and once I got to the park it would be windy as all get out. Before all this virus crap. I can't wait to get back to Flying again. Where are you guys flying ? Sorry about your friends plane I get like that sometimes my self but that is repairable not bag damage. I had to buy another carbon Cub s+ fuse because the GPS MODULE just made the plane fall completely out the sky,...now she's up flying better than ever.
Funny Skip...wind does the same thing at my house. So sorry about Martie’s plane, however i know you could fix it, did t seem too bad, I know I would fix it if it were mine. Happy Easter from Tara and myself and hope to see ya flyin soon, and yes...windy as crap here today as well 😖😞😷😷👊🏼👊🏼🔥🔥🐣🐣
You guys had a great time till the end. That bird looks easily repairable with only a couple of big pieces to glue instead of a lot of small ones.I hope Marty got over it and saw a bit of humor,as that is all you can do when that happens is laugh as crying sure don't help! Thanks Skip, love the cub,I learned on a Parkzone sport cub which is exactly the same as that except for the gps receiver and I got a lot of flight time on just a 2200,so on a 3200 you should be able to fly a long time!
I was wanting to try some fpv flying with my cub,but being my 1st rc plane, although it did teach me to fly,it took one hell of a beating and is now retired.I may get the one you were flying or maybe a Tundra,as that size is perfect to throw in the car and go.I have 2 glow planes just about ready to maiden also.
Actually it depends on the local police department If they want to enforce any type of jurisdiction. I live in Johnsburg, usually go to Richmond Burton high school and fly. A few Sundays ago while doing some flying the local PD showed up and told me I was trespassing on private property. So had to pack in up haven't been back since. I've been a few times at that location you fly at. Might have to start going back lol.
@@SkipBuiltRC That irate guy from the other video telling you his friend lost a $4000 airplane, that's the subdivision I live at. He would only be a few houses from us but I can't place his face. He was definitely an ass.LOL
We're not sure. But it seems that the control surfaces come detached from the wing at times. Mine did it too so I taped them as hinge support. Still have crossed fingers when flying it. Marty never did get it repaired.
@@SkipBuiltRC Well actually I was able to pull out just in time. Alltitude was my friend . Missed the ground by just a few feet then went home and cleaned my shorts....lol.
I love how you wait until he leaves and then you say oh that isn’t bad! Haha. I’m sure it would of really ticked him off if you said that to him 30 seconds after the crash instead of into the camera!
Always leave the throttle trim down on any electric bird. Then calibrate the esc. Throttle all the way up plug in the RX listen for the beeps then throttle down.
Today was a 50 50 I could get flight 2 on the Eflite A10 anyway if you havent watched skip here it is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rn2prQo9r90.html
