Add a few drops (3-5) of lemongrass oil to the inside, and rub 2 or 3 drops around the entrance. Never put honey in a swarm trap. Also try to make a few more traps and put them in different locations. More chances.
I have put lemongrass oil in and around entrance and I put honey to attract them I don't put it in anymore just to let them know the box is here but why not put honey in? I painted the inside and frames with beeswax
@@cityhomestead40 honey often attracts ants or robber bees. Scout bees looking for a suitable cavity don't generally choose boxes with ants or robbers.

Yes Thank You We have places we could buy bee kits but they are expensive and I found alot bees looking for places I think they were looking for a new home for their 👸 👑 ! Hope so anyway
