Pat, you are so inspirational to me. You are upbeat, super friendly, beyond helpful, and the time and energy you put into creating your videos are timeless. I watch you every single day, and miss you on Sundays. Thank you for what you do.
I so enjoy your videos. I watch them daily. It was great fun to watch your progress as you went through and reorganized your quilts. It's an amazing amount of quilting you have accomplished, and I am sure people who receive one are sooo happy. Lovely! Someday maybe we will meet. Afterall, we only live about ten minutes from each other...LOL. My quilts are so different (I am an art quilter), but I still so enjoy your videos. Cheers.
I am truly amazed at how much you get done in a day. Everyday you have a new video, get a bunch of sewing done, can stay on top of social media updates, design new patterns, post on your blog...I really don't know how you do it. I'm lucky if I get one thing done in a day. Seriously, are there three of you?? Love the daily videos, so inspiring. :-)
Pat, I'm excited about all your progress! I know what you mean about the satisfaction of completing a large undertaking. I too, will just sit back and 'take it all in'. So very fulfilling. I've got a lot more to do...I need to ' refind all those projects' that I have stashed SOMEWHERE ! Thank you for motivating me with all your wonderful ideas.
Pat thank you for always inspiring me! You showed your angel food cake block made with scraps and it gave me a lightbulb moment and now I'm going to be taking a big chunk of leftover stripset fabric and turning it into a few blocks. You are making amazing progress with your UFO's and that is inspiring too. Thank you for all the hard work you do.
I love your dining room and hallway. Such a fun group of color. And the wrought iron table and chairs in the dining room….I would eat there and just absorb it all💕
Very rewarding touching and putting everything away!! Great job! So nice to donate and share your warmth!!! Love the heart quilt. I have a collection of over 110 different cat fabrics that I'm using to make the heart quilt full size for my daughter-in-law. I'm calling it "Meowy Love". Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for all you do, Pat but especially today for demonstrating how you cut your border the length of the fabric. That always seems so daunting to me!
I came across you on facebook for the first block of Summer Soiree I had sewn before but never quilted and always wanted to so I decided to give it a go. Quilting is now my happy place, I have learned so much and I look forward every day to you videos you are always so encouraging and you have shown us that even an expert makes mistakes and you just move on. I have so many ideas in my head and so many quilts I want to make. Thank you so much for all you help I have 5 projects going right now and will finish my first quilt soon. I will be watching
Wow!!! What an amazing stack of quilts!! Love it!!🥰I can’t wait to have a stack of quilts. I have so far given all I have done away to family. I think the gift of a quilt is one of the most precious gift to receive!! Thank you for all your wonderful teaching videos!! The videos have been such a help to me!!😘🥰❤️
Wow, you have accomplished so much these past few days! ❤️❤️❤️ Everything looks neat and tidy and it makes you feel so good. I need to do the very same, thanks for the inspiration, Pat. 🥰 Chris
Pat I enjoy watching and learning from your videos. You are uplifting and have been an encouragement . Winter has been a downer for me and my RA is limiting my sewing at the moment. I'm looking forward to warmer weather and motivation. Please please continue your inspiring videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Pat - Your Happy Everything quilt is beautiful! I love the way your colors are spread throughout the top and the inner and outer border just tie it together. I've really learned a lot from your videos about color placement in quilts.
Love watching Pat everyday. Love her laugh & that she shares her knowledge with all of us. She gets me motivated to create & helps me be more confident in my projects!
Hi Pat I subscribed about a year ago and watch your videos every day before I get out of bed. I am also doing Sweet Dreams sew along. Looking forward to the sew along in March and I will be doing the Valentine bonus. You have taught me so much and I appreciate you. I love being in the Pat Zone
It’s amazing how you’ve organized all those quilts. I’m hoping to get a lot of UFOs done this year. Have rewatched your you tube on why we don’t get our quilts quilted. Yep that’s me big time. Watching you each day helps me see what I could do. Thanks for giving me the confidence to keep trying.
WOW! WOW! WOW! That's a lot of work to get all of the quilts organized. I'm off work today and my new schedule has me off on Saturday and Sunday. Sorry I missed you and everyone this morning at the premiere. I stayed up way later than I should doing cross stitch. There are rumors that my Sweetheart and me will be going to breakfast this morning. Once back home, I'm playing in the dirt, planting strawberries plants, getting some seeds started and playing in the dirt on the eastern garden with the rototiller. Most of my quilting fabric has been moved to storage, so that will be coming back home after I finish my workroom. But I do believe that I have some valentine fabric floating around here somewhere. I want to start angel food cake blocks. It's going to be a table topper for our dining room table. Thank you Miss Pat!
Pat, when I started watching you in 2019, I didn't know how to square up a block. I have learned so much. Your Sew A Longs are always such fun. I feel like you are just talking to me; you are so personable. You make learning fun. And you show your mistakes, because we all make them. Your health issues have shown us it's okay not to look like we just left the make-up and hair salon. I can only imagine what you and Greg endured when you had both arms out of commission. Thank you.
I love it. I have bought new fabric for thus sew a long. Have a new grand coming in March. So excited. This is going to be fun. Today is a celebration, one of my adobted daughters is coming to lunch. She has recovered from covid. Cooking begins now. Yea!
So proud of you going through and re-folding / organizing your quilts. I’m thinking maybe that’s something I should do. I know I have a few quilts to fold and put in the cabinet. My husband needed to move a few of those quilts to sit in his chair last night to watch the football game. I asked him if he ever got tired of all of my/our quilts; he proudly, lovingly said no. 💜
Ok I commented that I decided to do the Happy Everything & so I bought Celebrate the Seasons. Ooops wrong book but you kept sewing & I just couldn't stand it. I have the wrong book, so now I have the right book & hopefully by spring I will be Happy with my Happy Everything Quilt. You certainly do inspire people with your everything you do! Love you Pat!!
I shared your link to sweet dreams with a friend this past weekend. She was excited as she has a quilt that she needs for s bridal shower. Thank you I was able to share.
Congratulations on getting that big organizing job done. I’m a fairly new subscriber and enjoy your video while I exercise- can’t cut into sewing time!
Hi Pat! Wow, what a feat of you organizing! It looks GREAT 💗💗 Your Happy Everything looks great, too. I think that width of border is just right for that one.
Pat have you tried grilling angel food cake? Just pop slices on the grill for a short bit to get grill marks - adds a whole new flavor! We serve with grilled pineapple (brushed with maple syrup) and vanilla ice cream!
Could you show us the blue and white quilt hanging on your living room wall? I just got a glimpse of it while you were showing us your well organized dining room!!
What a grand tour! Someone is going to be blessed with all the ones that you are giving away. What is the pattern behind you on the wall in your studio?
Pat, would you please show us how to did the corners of the binding for you Halloween quilt? It looks different from the way I do binding corners. Tia!
Today I am doing my Secret Lives of Color and Sweet Dreams 3 before Starting Angel Food Cake. I have a FQ Bundle form a club of the Sherri & Chelsi fabric that I am going to be using so I just need to find a background in my stash.
Thanks! Always a great way to start my day. Although, I'm afraid I'm going to do catch-up on Sweet Dreams, because it is great! And, I've finished 6 projects since 1/1/22 - they didn't need much, but they were languishing in a pile, and just needed some attention. Thank you!!!
Hi Pat you have done a fantastic job on your organization and folding but i was wondering if you could give us a lesson on folding of the quilts , do you have a number of folds that you go for , they look soooooo tidy and neat thank you for all you do and teach us you are the best
