Happy Monday… I’m so late to the party… 😂 hopefully you get to 500 soon. I have a tool question, what would you recommend for a good battery powered impact for removing lug nuts, etc…? Also, I’d love to see any updates on your Disco 1, don’t recall seeing any recent videos with it.
Happy Monday Will. You are in the Dewalt lineup right? I would say the DCF889 or DCF899. Both solid impacts. I had a set last year. Sold them all. Unfortunately no updates on the discovery. It's still in the side yard. Needs bearings, brakes, shock mount and some love. I'll be on it soon. Just got a lot on my plate at the moment.

@@willseeadventures If you're rich other than that I see no need to switch to another brand 😆. All brands have comparable tools. They all get the job done. Even Ryobi. Some people swear by harbor freight tools. And I hear decent reviews. I have an old school Milwaukee impact. It's brushed and takes everything I have put to it off. But that's because I started in that brand. Now I'm currently in all brands. And they all have just as much power if not more. It all comes down to how much you want to invest.
@@willseeadventures I do have to mention that dewalt has recently stepped up their game and jumped into the stacked Lithium-Ion batteries first and they are improving power, charge time and run time. So there's that. Milwaukee just announced they are working on their new battery line. Flex is second after dewalt with their new powerstack cell's as well. Other brands are going this route. This is going to change the power game.
@@PFab for real? Thanks, I'll definitely give a shout when I land a deal on an engine crane/hoist. Missed the deal at HF last week, and at $300 now I'll wait for the next sale before dumping that much for something I'll use only a couple times. Miss when they were $200 😒
@@PFab hadn't planned on doing this, but after replacing half the rubber hoses, power steering pump and lines it was time to do the oil pump gasket and some other bits on the front...which required pulling the crank. When to turn it, solid. Fiddled a bit and pulled the plugs, gave the crank a go again and cylinder 6 puked all over everything 🤮. Yup, head gasket! So, figure I might as well pull it since it will make everything easier in the long run. Plus I can get to a bunch of other stuff I likely could never contort my arms and body to get at. And fyi, I've never gone farther than a couple valve cover gaskets lol. Thanks again
