Glad your dad’s doing better. It can be stressful trying to navigate and advocate for parents. I was trying to help my mom when she got diagnosed with cancer, only to be diagnosed myself, so it was a wild ride for a while. Congrats on the new little guy!

She deserved it for being rude like that. I’m protective of my mom now that she’s elderly. Even if my nieces and nephews are mean to her, I let them know what I think and feel about that. She raised a few of them when my passed away, so they feel more entitled to get nasty with her than typical grandkids would, but I tell them off if they do. Prayers for hour whole family and I hope your dad is feeling more comfortable very soon. Be well & take care.
