Happy Game just made an appearance at E3 during the Future Games Show with a brand new trailer featuring lots of new footage. That's the good part. The less good part is that we won't be able to deliver the game this spring as we originally estimated. Happy Game is doing very well, but we need a few more months to make sure you'll get a well-functioning game on both PC and Switch. We're now aiming to release Happy Game this fall. Thank you for understanding!
A little boy falls asleep to a horrible nightmare. Can you make him happy again?

Every Amanita game has been ever so slightly closer to horror than the previous one, but looks like now they've decided to jump in to horror with both feet. I am okay with this.

Um, Botanicula wasn’t scary at all, besides for that damn part in episode 6 where you have WATER THAT STUPID PLANT!!!!!! Oh, and I guess the spiders as well.

I feel like this game might be something along the lines of a child with a active imagination having trouble with telling the difference between trauma and joy due to a damaging experience they've had causing them to have nightmares featuring smiling and things that would normally bring joy to children meshed with gore and horrifying situations.

possibly the child's dreams are a representation of his home full of violence due to the fights of his drunken father and his religious mother and that is why he imagines them as monsters during the game
