Jessica's laugh is infectious. She had me laughing with her and I found this movie funnier than the other times I watched this film throughout my life.
oh my goodness, you guys are perfect for comedy like this 🤣 The "fans" that came to see Happy seemed to be a parody of sorts of what the media thought of Tiger Woods fans around the same time.
Just a fun film, so over the top but all of his films have a certain charm. I like you guys, think I'll stick around. You mentioned a comedy poll, I have a suggestion to add to the list; "Oscar" with Stallone & a top tier cast. One of the best & underappreciated comedies out there. I think it's one of his best roles. Hope you consider. Cheers
Early Sandler movies still hold up for me. Especially this one. Ever go to a Top Golf establishment? They have a special warning against the Happy Gilmore approach and not to do it, lol. Great reactions once again. You both rock
The word "crocodile" made me realise that you should watch "Crocodile Dundee 1 & 2". Also comedies with lots of warmth doing their very own thing. Not to mention the source of the iconic line "THAT'S a knife" 😉
Hi how are you Mike and Jessica I just wanted you guys to know that I enjoy your guys's content and happy Gilmore's one of my all-time favorite movies and I just subscribed to you guys not too long ago and I wish your channel all the success in the world and I wish you both the best that life has to offer with respect and kindness always talks with Chris
Adam Sandler and Bob Barker made another skit about 10 years ago (I think at an awards show) that was an homage to this. I think Bob Barker was recently hospitalized at the time, which explains the setting. It's pretty hilarious, and gave me pure nostalgia. There's a couple of uploads of it on RU-vid. I think one is uncensored.
Yeah, those two were hilarious. I've read a little about the production and that Bob wanted to do his own fighting stunt etc. And he did! Good stuff! Thanks! (:
Hi Mike & Jessica!😊 I saw you guys were reacting to one of my favorite comedies, and I know Jessica likes to laugh to the funny ones.😆 Great reactions to this well made comedy, Boss Couple!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏 I voted!😉
I wanted to come back to this specific channel and video to tell you that Adam Sandler is filming Happy Gilmore part 2. It’ll be showing up on Netflix so you guys keep an eye out and enjoy it once it premieres. Take care! 😁😁😁💯💯💯
That was awesome! Thank you! I almost forgot about this movie … I watched it more than 25 years ago and I am so happy you guys brought it right back to my memory. As always, you made my day - thank you very much! Because you put me in such a great mood when you watch comedies, what better way to return this to you than letting you watch something great, not necessarily react, just for yourselves to enjoy and have fun … to me this guy is definitely the king of stand-up comedy and if you know him already I can only apologize, but I think it still would be refreshing to watch this (again): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ux8GZAtCN-M.html Looking forward to your next reaction. Best wishes and warm salutations from your Romanian brother …
Hello, my Romanian brother, thanks for watching. We're happy to hear you enjoyed our reaction and it made your day. Hey, I know "Fluffy", he's a real funny dude. I hadn't seen this bit, so I started watching and I really liked it. I watched the first ten minutes and I look forward to finishing it once I replied to all of today's comments. Wishing you a great week and lots of greetings from the Bosses! (:
Did you change a bunch of the music tracks while editing, for copyright I would imagine, or is there a scuffed version of the movie out there without it's iconic soundtrack?
Yes, I changed two tracks because of the copyright and then recreated all the sound effects. I know the original soundtrack was more fun, but what can you do. Btw, you're the first person to point that out. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
I absolutely love Adam Sandler.. I believe this movie was based in Waterbury Connecticut which is like right around the corner from my house amazing movie
13:50 Just to answer Jessica's question... each club has its face (where the club hits the ball) at a different angle in relation to the ground. The driver or 1W is the most perpendicular which gives shots more distance while sacrificing altitude. The sand wedge gives less distance but more height due to its face's more acute angle. The various clubs have different angles to provide the distance and height the player wants at any given time. Excuse me for getting long-winded. I talk a lot of golf on my gaming channel.
I find it rather interesting that you think Carl Weathers looks young here. I only know him from the Rocky movies and Predator. To me this is an old Carl Weathers. I recently discovered this channel and have been bingeing. Your reactions are fun to watch.
Now, you see? Jessica clearly made a joke about NOT knowing what a landline is in order to appear VERY young. Now I could say you must be a tad slow, right? So, let's move forward being nice. (:
There is an area in Michigan with a chain of car washes called Mister. I'm can't drive by without hearing Adam Sandler talking about the mister mister lady 😂
So for some reason they deleted the scene right after his grandma sees his commercial. As they are leaving the nursing home he confronts Ben Stiller for how he treated his grandma.. You can find it on you tube.
Somehow only just realized the only reason happy was still able to play despite being hit by a car was because he was doing that brutal endurance training as a hockey player. Physical toughness can come in handy as a golf player in case you get hit by a car on the field.
I loved this movie as a kid. That guitar riff from Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Tuesday's Gone" that they used in the intro and outro for the movie is sooo good. I'm impressed with some of the different Ben Stiller characters back in the day. As a kid, I never realized it was Ben Stiller in this. It's also interesting to reflect on how I sometimes didn't get a lot of the humor in these types of comedy movies as a kid. So I ended up perceiving many of them in a more serious tone. It's definitely a different experience between that, and finally being able to see and understand the humor elements.
Awesome reaction; I loved Jessica's sense of humour and her laugh. It made me laugh harder! Looking forward to seeing more comedies to laugh along with!
@25:21 That’s the Director, Dennis Dugan. He’s directed 12 or 15 Sandler movies often appearing in them. The golfer telling him to “feel the flow, send the ball home” is Saturday Night Live alum castmember Kevin Nealon (currently has a hiking while interviewing podcast on youtube/one with Sandler). The IRS agent is Robert Smigel. The first head writer for Conan O’Brien Show. Head writer at Saturday Night Live while Sandler was there. Sandler has him appear in everything and they write together. Creator of Triumph The Insult Comic Dog. The “heckler” disrupting Happy’s game is recently passed Joe Flaherty who comes from the Canadian hit sketch show SCTV and is part of the legendary 😮early days of John Candy, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Martin Short, Maureen O’Hara etc… He has a monstrous comedy movie curriculum vitae.
The homeless guy that becomes his caddy is his real life best friend and producer-partner Allen Covert. He stars in his own HappyMadison production, Grandma’s Boy. He’s also in many Sandler movies. So are 2 other best friends. You’ll see them.
Hi, I wasn't quite sure what to make of your references, but I looked it up and I assume you were talking about the movie "Hot Rod." I put it on our list. Thanks! (:
Hi Lucas, please don't say stuff like that. You don't know Jessica and I can promise you there's nothing "slow" about her. She's very smart, has a high level of integrity and probably knows more about the spiritual world and global politics than you do. So, let's keep it civil. Thanks for watching! (:
This is an absurd comment. I’ve watched several of their videos and I see no evidence to support the second part of your claim. They are both thoughtful and intelligent observers of film.
Growing up, I always thought it was interesting that you would see "Happy Madison Productions" before nearly every Adam Sandler movie. Because he had the movies "Happy Gilmore" and "Billy Madison", which were two of my favorite Adam Sandler movies as a kid.
I'm not a huge Sandler fan, but I do love his 90's stuff! Great reaction, you guys rock! If you two haven't seen Big Trouble in Little China, I'll bet you'd have a lot of fun with that one!
Went from yall American History X to this so we'll see the full spectrum of reactions yall are great. That said The Prestige is an incredibly underrated movie. Its a pair of magicians and they managers and families. They basically both want to be the best in they craft but mostly its the cast of this incredible movie.Christian Bale Hugh Jackman Micheal Caine Scarlett Johansen David Bowie.
Okay I’ve subscribed purely on your laugh,it’s so infectious and hypnotic lol….looking forward to watching many more reactions you guys have done and are planning to do 👍👍👍👍
Hey Mark, thanks for watching, and thanks for subscribing! 😂👍👍 Make sure you vote on our Patreon pool for our next comedy and more laughs: www.patreon.com/BossMovieReactions
God Rest His Soul to a tremendously terrific man Bob Barker from the most legendary game shows of all time THE PRICE IS RIGHT we all certainly miss him very much🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 30:59
Oh, he's gone too? Well, yeah, considering that the movie is over 20 years old... R.I.P. I also read somewhere that he studied "fighting" and therefore wanted to do the fight sequence himself, so he did! Good stuff! 🙏🙏🙏
I love this movie and honestly, when I first attempted golf, I did the Gilmore swing. I would play street hockey with my siblings so I completely understand why Happy hit the ball the same way you would a puck. That said, I suck at golf but am great at putt-putt (mini golf) for some reason. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
45:46 lol I'm pretty sure Abraham Lincoln was there as a politically incorrect joke. You know, because of the history with the Civil War and Chubbs being a black man. R.I.P., Carl Weathers.
@@tempsitch5632 Um, yes. It makes perfect sense that would be the case. It's a comedy movie, after all. And it was made at a time where that sort of humor was more acceptable than in today's time. That's why we also have Robert Downey Jr. playing a stereotypical black man in _Tropic Thunder,_ which would've been subject to a lot more controversy if it had been released today.
I wish you'd seen this when it was relative. It was so much funnier when the jokes were aimed at current cultural topics and icons. The bad elder care, lame soft rock, Gretzky's ending hockey career, etc. The jokes hit much harder when they were relevant.
Yeah, you're probably right about that! But it was still very funny though! Hey, I see you have the "Crocodile" as your profile icon. lol. Thanks for watching! (:
