In today's video I wanted to share with you another simple and accessible cleansing spell that can be done without the use of smoke! It revolves mainly around common to find tea herbs and household ingredients! I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for this! I like smoke cleansing, but also live in Washington and don't always want smoke indoors. For smoke-free cleansing, I've also done water sprinkling, and like to use saltwater with rosemary and lavender in it for that purpose. I'll make it into a bit of a tea, similar to the recipe here, and sprinkle it in my rooms and thresholds while talking to the herbs and asking for their help and intention. My dogs get confused a bit, but it works well!

I like to use sound to cleanse when I can't or don't want to use smoke or sprays. I have a bell I love to use for that. It was a gift from my host family when I was working in India and was blessed in a Ganesha temple. But I use singing bowls too

congrats on writing a book!! it takes dedication and continuous effort to writing one from start to completion. so congrats on the hard work! can't wait to see it. i like doing spray cleansing as well! if i have moon water on hand, i like to add it. my herbal combination is lemon/orange, green apple, and chamomile. if i have rose, i add some too. there's a vibrancy and aliveness in citrus fruits and green apples for me, so i bless these sister herbs to bring vibrancy to home space which helps with the feeling of lethargic for me, chamomile for calm and sweetness, and rose, motherly love and protection.

Sound is a very effective space cleanser. I like 417hz or 741hz. I also used ground sage and cloves in my cleansing sprays.

Great ideas! Thanks. I will definitely try this! Sometimes I make an herbal mixture and steep it on my stovetop to clear the house. After it's steaming, I walk through the house with it from room to room letting the steaming mixture flow into the rooms I want to clear. I often use orange slices or peel in these mixtures with rose petals. Really enjoy your vlogs/videos.

Thank you for this video. I can’t use a smoke cleanse due to having pet parrots. This would be an ideal way to enable me to cleanse my home, a tea spell! Chamomile and lavender are safe for birds, consensus is out on lemon verbena so maybe I could substitute it with lemon balm (to keep the fragrance profile as well as for its protection properties) that way if my birds lick anything where the spray settled it would not cause them any harm. Definitely going to give it a try even though I am not a practicing green witch I am trying to find a way to improve myself (my surroundings too) and this feels like the right thing to do

Hello there - I made this home cleansing spray today. As its Mabon/Autumn equinox I thought it was a good day to make it, as well as garden clearance and sewing spring bulbs. I had a cosy afternoon indoors with my dog, whilst my son and partner went up north. Love from Edinburgh, Scotland

So excited for your book! Can’t wait to get my hands on it. Congratulations on a major achievement! I like to use whole herbs instead of EOs for sprays because I worry about undiluted oils landing on surfaces where my kids or cats could ingest. Teas are just as potent and often less expensive than highly concentrated EOs! I also like to use moon water or sun tea for my sprays depending on the purpose or intent. I’m buying a home soon and I’m looking forward to having some time to cleanse and invite positive energy into the home before we move in!

I use rosemary it's been a protection for years and years. I also use the male stems on my rose bushes for a ward above my door. If they're still green and your careful you can bend them into a wreath and then encorporate rosemary. The rose still gives off loving energy but the male stems give it a bit more oomph I noticed for myself. Typically I do this after a cleansing and i do them in a circle to.rempresent the seasons and a year. Typically around mid summer I make them each year to re vamp them. It's also closet witch friendly.

What do you mean by "male stem"? Botanically, roses have both male and female parts in one flower, so I'm curious how you're using this term.

Congrats on your book! I sometimes like to keep my home cleasing sprays really simple, like if 'm traveling and need to use what I can find almost anywhere. One I make is rosemary, lemon peel, and sea salt.

Thank you for posting smoke free ideas. There are times when smoke bothers my asthma. I enjoyed this and your other smoke free video. These will be great substitutes. I was also thinking that this would be great for broom closet witches. It would be more discreet than smoke.

I love infusions! I mixed an infusion with a few drops of tincture recently and it grew a funny little mold cap within a week. The one without the tincture hasn't so far.

I also have wind chimes hanging above my altar space that I use for cleansing. I find sound can be a really easy way to cleanse a space. Music works well too. I have several playlists for different intentions.

You could do either one but the tincture will keep longer by itself undiluted.

Thanks so much for this! I hadn't thought of using tea herbs which is great as I'm always worried that I'm going to use something that shouldn't be inhaled/ingested lol I think I'm going to try this as a little simmer pot with an oil burner and tealight to permeate the air as I get ready for work. Can you tell me what other tea herbs would be good, such as something for luck, concentration etc or point me in the right direction if you've mentioned this in a previous video? Many thanks! X

As I used to work at Rev Zombie, I usually use Florida Water to cleanse, mine is heavy on Orange, Cloves and Cinnamon in iceland vodka: but I have been trying to go hybrid with Herb de Provence. Btw you teased us about Dandylion magick and gave us Basil?

Usually it has to be about 20% alcohol to preserve.
