@@nnannakenechukwu7385 Hi, It can be frustrating I completely understand but you need to keep trying. One thing I’d say is maybe you should get an Airbnb for the first 2weeks. Then reach out to housing agencies, check websites like SpareRoom.com, zoopla and Co. I have a video on finding an accommodation. You should be able to find a couple houses you can use your first 2 weeks to check the houses. That would give you time to find the best place.
Honestly I am not sure about that but I know international students have no access to public funds which should imply that the government wouldn’t do that. my advice would be to confirm from your university for more clarification 💕. Happy New year!
