We can see improvement in his movement. I am a firm believer that acupuncture and possibly chiropractic adjustments will be the answer. I am so glad he is improving. Thoughts and prayers to you and all the herd.
Rising Star looks so happy to be in a pasture again. It is good for him. His legs act much like mine did after my neck was broken and my spinal chord damaged; you walk along and all of a sudden one or both just go out and you try to use the other to recover. It can get better over time, but it takes a LONG time. Accidents and falls can set back progress as well.. Sending love and light for healing. Stay well and blessed be Yvonne!
I literally got goosebumps watching Risey trot and canter. His gait clearly isn't right BUT he seems stronger and more coordinated than before, and surely the fact that he's trotting and cantering of his own volition says a lot about how steady he feels on his feet? I'm so hoping he makes a full recovery.
And practicing movement makes nervsystem recovery even "quicker" because it is a slow process for every human and animal. I was so happy to see that. They don't trot willingly when they are too wobbly. But now he seems to be much better. Let's be thankful for that. Yvonne really deserves that miracle and RS too..of course. 😅 I have a strong believe that it will happen.
Risey was so happy to get out and smell everything in the pasture. Hopefully he will continue to improve and get a chance to be with other horses. Risey is very social and loves company.
@@Susan-j3w I'm certain Yvonne is doing what's best for RS and his buddies. I have a similar condition and need to be safe and that's not always possible with busy activity or others around me. Give it time.
Miracles do happen. I had an Irish wolf hound that was given 6 months to live (dilated cardiomyopathy) and lived almost 4 years. I prayed to the Lord. Miracles are rare and are blessings when received. I didn't imagine my girl would be with me that long. I miss her. I pray for all of you and the critters too.🐎✝️🕊️🙏❤️
Look at Risey go! I’m almost crying watching his miracle happen before our eyes. I love hearing his happy blow and his flagged tail. What a handsome colt!❤🙌🏻❤️
I’m crying also. Definitely improvement. I love the noises he makes when he’s happy. Thank you Yvonne. The photo at the end of the video is picture perfect, with him partly shaded by the leafy trees. He is so so happy and so am I. I am still praying for arising Star and everyone else at Stall H. Yvonne you are magic. 🙏☘️🙏☘️🌠💗💗💗🙏
Rising Star looks and sounds so happy in the pasture. All you have done for him, Yvonne, has made a difference. He is leading his best life and it shows with his trot and flagged tail. Thank you for giving him treatments and time to heal, we will all keep praying for continued improvements.
Listening to his snorts and blows brought me to tears. Music to my ears! This sweet boys deserves all the happiness he can get! Hopefully, his friend Dieuwke, can come visit him in his pasture sometimes. I think he really enjoys the companionship.
My heart almost stopped when he saw the ditch. That was scary to me. He looks wonderful back out in the pasture. I hope everything is working for this beauty of a horse. He deserves a great life.❤❤❤❤❤
Seeing Risey in the pasture moving about, then cropping fresh grass, is a miracle. To hear his happy noise shows he's feeling good. You are looking after him so well.
I hope more accupuncture is coming regularly for awhile (depending on the accupuncturist's recommendation); it can keep the inflammation down. Whether his continued growth or the treatments can heal it, is still unknown, but it is obviously having a good effect on him. It makes my heart glad for both of you, Yvonne. ❤️🥰❤️🤗. I had a beautiful horse like Risey; he had everything and we loved each other. My parents got divorced and I eventually had to sell him, but thankfully I found him a very good home. He was a gift to me from the Gods. I've never met such a beautiful horse again, until Risey. Hugs to you, Bauke and the boys. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🐎
Gosh, Rising Star is so beautiful. You wouldn’t know something was wrong until he starts moving, and even then, the sheer joy on display at being able to frolic in the grass again is so lovely to watch. I’m glad to hear some things are improving or holding steady. Under your watchful eye, I have hope he’ll live a full and happy life, even if he never fully recovers, though I obviously hope he will.
So happy 🎉 to witness this event. Love Rising 🌟 Star. His treatment is helping. Watching him grow up is such a delightful 😊 experience. Much ❤️ love to all that make his life happy and well.
„I can already tell you that (while editing) he canter better already“. Oh how I love reading/hearing that. Hopes and prayers go out to him that that development stays that way and that he gets better with each day that passes by.
How exciting, but also a bit fearful to see Risey back in the meadow🧡 He kept making eye contact with Yvonne, as if to say, 'Look Mem, I'm doing really well. Can I stay here now?' ❤
Prince Risey is a happy happy boy he can trot without falling and seems to be moving so much better. What an emotional moment for many, holding our breath. I and many are praying he gets stronger and stronger every day. He grew so fast the nutrients from his mama was rich so he thrived. ❤
rising star is at the best place he could possibly be and is getting the best care he could possibly be.....I think yvonne has consulted the best people for advice
Greg, I feel like many here believe this is a current video of Risey and not one filmed before his treatment. Is it possible for the MODS to again inform everyone that this was made 4 months ago? Thanks, Greg.
@@joannepantale483 2 or 3 of us mods post everyday the date the video was made and also we try to answer individual comments/questions about the date the video was made
I watch Risey with a hopeful heart that he keeps improving. Watching him run and look so happy did my heart good. I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia 6. I am slowly loosing my coordination similar to Risey. I rode a horse for the last time, a little over a year ago. I can’t balance well so it isn’t safe any longer. Risey helps me smile. Thank you for the wonderful videos of all the horses. Praying God helps Risey and I to keep going with a smile!
“Miracles Do Happen” Yes! I saw that & teared up. You & Risey are proof. Thank you for giving him time. Who knows what the future will bring? Sending you so much love & prayers ❤
Ich kann Dir nur zustimmen! Auch ich habe Tränen in den Augen, weil es mich so sehr freut, Risey glücklich zu sehen! 🥲 Wunder geschehen... danke Yvonne! ❤🧚🏻♂️🪄
Out beautiful boy Risey, loving life in the pasture. I don't know much about horses except what I've learned here, but I could tell he was happy as it sounded like he was "purring." So happy to see him romping in the pasture. May he live many many more years. Thank you Yvonne, and stay safe.
Oh my God this is the most hopeful video I've seen, showing Risey in motion with his tail flagged and moving right along. Not perfect but progress in Sept. SO wonderful to hear that in Jan he is moving even better. Whatever you're both doing please keep it up. Continued prayers for more improvement. Go Risey!!
The most guapo young red Warmblood colt in all of Friesland and the bond Principe shares with his Yvonne is truly the sweetest.🌟🐎Video was made September 13/14 23 oh the close up of his soft gentle eyes there’s so much love and trust for his beloved human.🥹🧡
Indeed, because I have ridden one after 2,5 years inheeling time. Owner ride him earlier, but I was young and not heavy. So I rode him at the forest for a while. There was sandy roads and soft to go...also for me if I have to jump away...if something happens to to leg control. But nothing ever happened. He was hoped to be a jumper, but he became a ordinary riding horse. He had also that acupuncture treatment for 6 months or so. Hopefully Risey will also cover well. I have had high hopes about that. Recovery time is always long and I would have understood if Yvonne had been thinking that risk for her is too big. She made a good recovery once and is still on that rode. Nobody would have been judging her. But Risey had that chance, that many horses do not have. Lots of love and rest. Lovely to see him so happy and trotting so well. 🎉
Risey is a miracle. His life started out with such loss. Now, he gets hit with Wobbler's. I am so grateful you are taking care of him. As long as he has a chance, you have been there for him. Watching him canter was wonderful. When he flagged his tail, I knew he was happy to be in the field. Nice work from all of your herd, Yvonne!
The accupuncture appears to have helped a lot. He's moving much better here. I hope he continued to improvce since then. It's nice to hear him happily blowing. 🥰🥰
Yvonne, It's beautiful to see RS out in the pasture, it warms my heart to see our boy so happy. Thank you for giving RS the best care and time. Healing prayers for RS ❤️
WOW! He cantered, without you " scaring" him! This is very encouraging.... So that photo, yesterday, showed his abrupt halt, leading to him skidding in the wet grass! Actually, had hoped he was going down to roll.... But that, I believe, will come! YAY, Yvonne...small steps, but good ones!!! Lisa
So nice to see Risey able to be in the pasture. He is not totally well yet ; but, he has come a long way just like you have Yvonne. That is good news. Thanks, Yvonne.
I watch animal videos every day and I can't recall one animal that fills me with so much emotion and makes me cry as Risey does. Seeing him running gives me an inexplicable sense of happiness and I feel relief because he looks so much better. I don't believe in miracles per se, but as a nurse I see a lot at the hospital. Yvonne, your recovery is a miracle to your family and your continued dedication to them and your animals is so inspiring. Thank you so much for providing these to us all! To me Risey is PERFECT, wobbly or not. As long as he's not suffering, he can only be a blessing and inspiration to you and the rest of the world forever. These brief videos will uplift more and more people every single day!! ❤️💕💜💚🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🥰😍🤩
The happiest video I've seen in a long time..God is Good and in His time He shows miracles. Continued prayers for you my little Prince and for your human mom, Yvonne!!!!
There *really* are no words to describe Risey's beauty - both inside and out - *and* his rugged handsomeness!! Thanks Yvonne - and to all who have pitched in with the effort to get back our Risey to improved, and eventual, full health!! I'm not a horse person- but am, nevertheless, a medical professional. Having observed, closely, Risey's trotting and cantering - it appears (translated, would seem) that continued pasture activities for Risey (as long he's not too frisky ;) - as Yvonne stated) can only help him to regain a good deal - if not all - of his recently diminished coordination with his hind legs. Moreover, the simple act of more weight bearing onto his rear muscle groups (which likely weakened/atrophied for several months) can only, in addition, prove helpful :) !! Bottom line? *GO Risey!!* And? We. LOVE. Risey!!
Our prayers for Risey are working. Keep it up folks 😂❤ And Yvonnes loving hand is wonderful for Risey. He looks so happy here!! ❤ wonderful to see him this way. Thankyou, Yvonne. 🙂💙
Rising Star is so obviously happy on pasture and being home with you, Yvonne. his snorts and his flagging tail tell us everything. thank you for continuing to do everything you can for him. you're both in all our thoughts and hopes
My heart broke at first over Risey. So glad you explored options that enabled him & gave him a chance. Seeing him happy in pasture made me so happy too. There are no words
What a wonderful sight to see RS in the pasture, happy and doing a bit better it seems. This video made me a bit weepy- we all want Risey to get better and live out his best life. 🙏✝️💟
So very happy to see Risey in the pasture! Still sending prayers for Rising Star. I believe in his recovery and return to health! Yvonne, you are a Blessing! 🙏🌟
Dear Yvonne, Your beautiful Risey simply loves his new pasture, he did look a little bit wobbly when he tried to go from trot to canter but he corrected himself and then trotted better. Keep up with the treatments, I am praying all the time that they will help him and that he will improve in his gait. I always new that you loved Risey very much and that you would give him a chance to recover. It might take a while but that is to be expected, it didn’t come overnight so it cannot be expected to disappear overnight. I am so thrilled that you are giving him his chance to show you that he can get better with time. Your fan and friend Jane xx❤️🧑🏻🦰❤️🐴
Truly wonderful to see Risey in the pasture..a few heart in mouth moments but Yvonne dear how precious was this to see 😊❤🤎🙏🏻🙏🏻praying for you and Risey to be fully recovered one day 🙌🙌
Yvonne, ok hands up I am crying tears of joy. So the scary ditch had Risey put the brakes on, nothing more. He is so very very happy to be outside, simply magnificent Rising Star, your magic is to my untrained eyes working, yes clearly he has an issue, but if memory serves, Risey did not even want to trot, today he cantered. I am keeping you both in my heart Yvonne, as I said many times, you have the instinct, you know Risey best, your living with him daily, if anyone deserves the outcome we all wish, it is you. Today you made my day, bravo.
How wonderful to see Risey in the pasture, looking so happy and even having a gallop. He was really pleased to have all that space and grass. Brilliant to hear he is doing well. Well done Yvonne for your excellent care. ❤
How amazing to see Risey able to be on grass again. He was so happy and full of joy a change of scene will be good for his mental well-being, too. So lovely to watch this, thanks Yvonne ❤
You're giving him time, and not putting limits and expectations on him - and he feels that. Way to go Yvonne and team ❤❤❤🎉 Excellent news for a Friday 🎉
Yes!! I agree with this so well! She hasn’t put a time limit on risey, and he can sense that. Some people use marks like “if he isn’t able to do [insert task] by the end of 2 months then he’ll be a lost cause”. But yvonne has no expectations, only love and patience. It’s so amazing
