Happy Sea Otter Awareness Week!

We may be temporarily closed, but animal care never stops. Rachel (one of our marine mammal trainers) recently made some "otterly delicious" ice pops and an icy disk decorated with frozen clam paste in celebration of #SeaOtterAwarenessWeek. Sea otters are known for their playful nature and our trainers are constantly thinking of new enrichment ideas to keep the otters stimulated.

@Anne Perera, now it makes perfect sense why Joey can’t be with them, yet. Besides needing to learn & strengthen otter skills, he’s really little compared to them.
