Happy Thanksgiving guys love you ! I'm thankful for being clean and sober . I'm thankful for my life cause this year I had a massive heart attack and survived it Ty Jesus . I'm thankful for my family and I'm thankful for having my bf who understands and giving a home to my ex so he can grow and realize he has ppl that care this will be his 1st Thanksgiving with us he spent 20 yrs by himself such a sad thing but I'm grateful for this day . I ate before I watched y’alls video. I made smothered turkey wings, ham, rice and peas, stuffing, mac n cheese and deviled eggs. Followed by red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting. I watched a movie after I ate. Then I came straight to RU-vid to watch y’all. This was such a great video.Your family is so up lifting and inviting. We had turkey, stuffing, yams, peas, rolls, greens, pecan pie, pumpkin pie! We are very thankful for our many beautiful blessings! Our daughter who lives in New York came to visit us! Our youngest twin daughter ( 16) fixed the turkey, it was one of the best turkeys!

Alot of Italian families have lasagna as a side dish..We usually have stuffed cabbage rolls,kielbasa n kraut,& italian wedding soup for every holiday..i missed cooking this year because i make mac&cheese and greenbean casserole(but im only one who like the casserole..lol) but my inlaws can cook too we had an amazing feast..you know its good when no salt or pepper needed ..everything was seasoned to perfection..

I've never had spaghetti for Thanksgiving as a side dish. Always by itself with salad and bread or with fish and chicken..but, now I want to try it as a side dish for Thanksgiving! Yes, I normally cook everyone’s favorites since it’s always just me and my 9; my kids don’t really like different things as far as thanksgiving food. So I made homemade stuffing, baked Mac, southern yams, Cajun turkey, maple ham,greens with smoked turkey,and cornbread. Apple pie, sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie.

I definitely don't have spaghetti at a BBQ, with BBQ, or for Thanksgiving meal. I normally just have a spaghetti day with garlic bread and salad. We make chicken Tetrazzini instead of spaghetti for Thanksgiving. This year we had a turkey with a lemon pepper butter, it was so good.

I will say in my family, on both sides, spaghetti is considered a meal in itself. It’s not considered a side dish for a holiday meal. There is a caveat though, at special events such as baby showers it is used as a side dish where like chicken, salad, mini sandwiches are accompanying it. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Everyone is different ❤️

our thanksgiving staples are turkey, stuffing, yellow rice with pigeon peas, ham, roasted pork (pernil), baked chicken, potato/macaroni salad, plantain/yuca, mom makes mac & cheese sometimes + desserts. family is puertorican btw

Happy Thanksgiving! Yes I love some barbeque Turkey...deliciousness. Our menu...Bbq Turkey, bbq chicken, meatballs, brown sugar ham, ranch pork chops, mac n cheese, greens, strawberry cake, lemon pound cake, banana pudding, baby Lima beans, pecan pie, deviled eggs and candied yams

we're going to Golden Corral today for dinner. My mom is in her 70s and doesn't feel like cooking anymore and i'm useless in the kitchen so instead of ruining the meal for everyone we opt to eat out.

I challenge you to have her walk you through it now that thanksgiving is over. You won't ruin it for anyone and video record it because you will have to take over and keep her legacy alive. Trust me in speaking from experience. Write the recipes down and pull out the measuring cup based on her handfuls so you can get it as close as possible. Much love 💕

@@kp9759 my mom doesn't like to teach cooking...if anything she didn't want me in the kitchen growing up she would tell me she prefers to do it alone or i'm just in the way..she has on occasion taught me pumpkin desserts but no she's not a teaching mom. she wants me to learn on my own. i'm also fine eating out.

I pre ordered my Christmas dinner from my favorite southern cooking restaurant. I may make some devilled eggs, spiralled ham, and turnip greens to go with it. Give it some thought.

Normally we rent a hall and all family friends come near and far. ALL was welcomed Food! Food! FOOOOOD! We would have an AWESOME time but when covid hit it took a back seat. I miss those gathering. I'm still and always THANKful
