The Smash Remix team really made sure to represent Smash 64 as much as possible in this update. From Dragon King, the game's prototype, to the iconic song from the commercial. It's great.
The way that Dragon King's trailer starts off as a tribute to every character introduced so far with the very same song from that one commercial for the original game is just so clever. And it feels fitting as a Finale if Smash Remix were to stop being developed. But of course the day that happens will only happen when the team says so. As it stands, Smash Remix is still kickin'! Seriously, bless you guys for taking the game that has heavy "first-game syndrome" and making it a beautiful love letter to fans of Smash and the N64 era. Like if Smash 64 had DLC back then, on top of countless other silly, fun and chaotic features.
Hey Pringles, I thank you for this track quite a lot. Using it on the throwback to all the previous trailers was an amazing way to honour the commercial of Smash 64, and the conversion sounds amazing, you did fantastic and made me smile through the whole thing this track was playing. Amazing job to you, and to all the people that worked on the project. Not sure if after this, with the whole throwback and Dragon King reveal, there will be more characters. But if not, it's safe to assume that: Everyone, now for sure, is happy together :)
Yes it was, and it was also KCL's first ever commercial with the Nintendo characters. So yeah, this year Super Smash Bros. for the N64 turns 25 this year (1999 - 2024).
@@playstationarusu Sorry, I meant KCL Productions. They are a mascot costume company that made commercials for many different companies. And one of them was Super Smash Bros. for the N64 as their first commercial ever done with Nintendo.
Ah most marvelous song happy together late 90s my memories and childhood watch it commercial so sweet my kids grow up ever made it I love it have a greatness day everyone your legend peace!
Every time I hear this song I think of the 83 Ultimate characters fighting until the Smash 4 roster remains, then the Brawl roster remains, then it becomes the Melee roster until the last ones standing are the original Smash Bros. characters. Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Pikachu beat each other until all 4 become the Dragon King characters where it all began.
This song made by The Turtles, For me I always associate it with Nintendo things, Not only was it officially used in Nintendo commercials and trailers such like Super Smash Bros. 64 and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu Movie and not only by its vibes and samples ideal for its Nintendo style, But it is quite memorable for those who had Nintendo consoles while recruiting their brothers or friends to play multiplayer in the same house, Happily Together.
PLEASE put this song in the game if you make another update! I'm not sure how complete Remix is, so if you're done, that's fine, but I want this song in the game lol
{*insert Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Pikachu strolling in the sunflower field, as well as Homer daydreaming about Plobber in The Simpsons Movie here*}
Y así es como termina este gran hack rom, un repaso a cada personaje añadido al juego mientras de fondo suena esta canción, esto no podría ser mejor, un viaje al recorrido de mi juego favorito mientras de fondo suena mi canción favorita.
@@victoryking7688 Same thing still applies. It just wouldn't make sense to use this since Japanese players would probably think it has nothing to do with Smash.
Introducing Super Smash Bros, where all your favorite character go toe-to-toe in one four-player star studded slam fest! Only on Nintendo 64. Get N or Get Out.
@@victoryking7688 The issue seems to be with a YT bot that recently did the same for many other videos and channels. The channel didn't go down due to copyright.
We should get an official Smash Bros. game with this song. Smash Bros. soundtrack should be about videogame music, but I think Sakurai should make an exception for just this track, since it was in the classic commercial.
@@Langas_LVDCBattlefield would be the BEST option, that stage just got a redesign that is inspired in Melee All Star Rest, Brawl's Battlefield and most importantly, the SSB64 US Commercial, i can't believe that song isn't even in the game when there's now a stage inspired on the commercial itself tbh
Y’know something. I am extremely happy for this mod and how amazing it is to experience and play it. But In case a 1.6.0 comes out someday. I say my most wanted character to be in the game. Would be either Rayman. Or tonic trouble
