Flaky KNOWS Flippy has issues. It's canon. I'd say its canon that she KNOWS something happens to them every episode she is in by that logic. Flippy likes being around Flaky, but Flaky fears him in turn. Depressing. If this show kept going, I would've love to see where they finally gain awareness and try to escape.
@@gamereveegod What do you mean "used over it"? Wouldn't Flaky be more terrified to know she and everyone will die over and over again with no escape to it?
i also wanna note the fact he doesn't lose his shit here 1:56 when he's handed a knife. like, he thinks about it for a second but doesn't. and then also at 2:19 there's only 2 people in the room, AND YET HE CHOOSES THE ONE WHO IS HIDING AND BARELY VISIBLE, RATHER THAN THE GIANT INFLATED PORCUPINE IN PLAIN SIGHT.
She does? I mean she dies just like every character in the show, does that mean that the town they live in is cursed so that whenever they die they come back to life as if nothing happened but retain the horrible experiences? Probably not but it’s just a fun theory
@@theblackswordsman5039 the other animals live their like normal so i assume only flaky know what will happen to them and flippy might go batshit crazy
And those were just in her little nightmare scenarios in Without A Hitch, in reality, Flippy never "flipped out" and stayed in control the whole time, but was misunderstood and attacked while trying to help her, ouch.
@Logan Kroledge it must be as loud as a balloon popping (a big one) or louder, but flaky's scream was an exception to this rule, other characters have screamed a lot before being killed by fliqpy and nothing happened (same with lumpy). Who's actually the dum dum? Hmm, now that i think of it, what is actually the character that fliqpy killed the most? Neither lumpy nor flaky for sure.
@@russeldecena can you calm down-? I'm personally still a Flaky x Flippy shipper, but It's not like I don't understand why people dislike the ship Not all Flaky x Flippy shippers need to be the cringy type, you know I just still like them because I've shipped them since I was young & the fanart made of them is *in my opinion* still adorable
Ever notice how in the tv series of HTF Fliqpy NEVER kills Flaky! I mean, he sees her inflated by her allergies and in the clear with no way to defend herself yet he goes after Sniffles hiding in the bobbing for apples barrel instead (in this case it was his honor bound soldiers code to never harm any one who can’t defend themselves cuz it’s an unfair advantage, but ONLY in the tv series does it apply to that and not the web series) and her screams are what snaps him outta his Fliqpy persona!
Well in that episode where they were stuck in the island he seemed very happy to off her (after she popped the only boat they got) haha but other than that, yeah I do notice that he's a lot more easy on her compared to others.
Yeah, Flaky's scream also brings Flippy back to reality when he was trying to heal so Fliqpy stops overtaking him and murdering others in Double Whammy. (He also spared Flaky in the party, although she was suffering a severe allergic reaction that was likely going to kill her anyway, and he snapped back into reality when she died.....) Could be because they hadn't fully decided on their personalities back then ooor Flippy grew to care more for Flaky overtime, which unfortunately also came about with Flaky developing a fear of Flippy because of his instability. ;_;
@@pinokosthewife I’m unsure, though it is interesting to think about whether Flaky was spared due to pure luck or if Fliqpy had wanted them to live. I believe Flaky had started to understand Flippy more after the episode “Without A Hitch”, so their friendship started to form. Why else would Flaky throw him a party knowing what could happen if something reminded him of his trauma?
Flaky is the only one from which she can heal Flippy, because if he goes into killer mode, when she shouts, Flippy will be normal again, she is the only character that has always been with him, where he hears his voice, he will return to be good
@@ryukomatoi592 Yeah, those are very early episodes (you can see from the roughness of the art style!) I think they didn't decide fully on the personalities yet, because there's also other inconsistencies (Flippy is usually a very nice, gentle character when he's not triggered into hallucinations and flashbacks and Fliqpy takes over, but Flippy had some rather cruel expressions during that camp-out episode--there's other inconsistencies like sometimes, he wasn't always depicted with yellow eyes in flipped-out mode, etc.)... for an in-universe explanation, you can probably assume he grew to care for her more over time. To borrow (two) TV Tropes phrases: early installment weirdness and characterization marches on.
Yo, I have no idea how to feel about this ship. On one hand, it seems like Flippy as himself would be a good fit for Flaky and her anxiety (and vice versa for Flippy's PTSD, since he clearly shows some favor to her over other characters), but on the other hand their lives are so shrouded by death that there's no way for them to have a chance to date without Lumpy's domino effect shenanigans/something triggering Flippy's PTSD. Also, apparently Flippy is 22 while Flaky is 12 (according to Google), yet she's able to drive a car. In some countries you can drive at 12, but since this show takes place primarily in the USA, she would (on average) need to be at least 14-15 to get a driving permit, 16-17 to have a liscence, and to drive alone (especially at night), must be over the age of 18 with one year of driving experience. This could be a error in writing, but still. I think I'll stay on the ropes with this one. It seems shippable (minus the famous HTF death), but I don't think there's a point in shipping it because of said death. If you guys wanna ship it, I support you, and for those who don't, I understand.
Well there are so many people keep saying Flaky is 12 etc. But yes she is probably 18 and Flippy not that old for her. I can understand people who doesn't like this ship too but few of them just attacking Flaky x Flippy shippers and that's kinda toxic- They should learn to respect these people who ships them.
I didn't think about it that way, but you're right... ;_; It could be because Fliqpy does tend to spare her more as time goes on and Flaky's screams bring Flippy back in control, so it could be she doesn't forget it like those who were killed and revived... ouch.
@@ChocoWeirdo it’s because everyone is dead so he snapped out of his flipqy personality due to the fact that there is no one left to kill because the mole died too.
He wasn't trying to be horrible. Flippy is a kind, sweet guy normally, but his friends dying (through his own mistakes...) in W.A.R. Journal and having to hide in the dead body of one of his friends messed him up and basically caused his mind to split creating the alter Fliqpy who could protect him and defeat enemies. Unfortunately, Fliqpy hallucinates *everyone* as enemy soldiers. He literally cannot recognize Flippy's friends, he sees only a battlefield and soldiers. He'll recognize, vaguely, small children (so he doesn't kill Cub) and sick people (he doesn't kill Flaky when she's having an allergic reaction), but he can't recognize who he's seeing. ;_; Later on, Flaky's scream is what brings Flippy back to reality and regaining control. I think seeing Double Whammy and the HTF Ka Pow episode W.A.R. Journal are needed to fully understand what Flippy and Fliqpy are. Flippy is not evil, he's very traumatized and loses control because Fliqpy hallucinates everyone as enemies out to kill him. He's not culpable, criminally insane, basically.
2:35 okay but when he heard Flaky scream he snapped back to his “calm” phase does that mean that she calms him down in some way? Or he’s scared of hurting her?(but does it anyway) but still??
Maybe her scream just wake up him or something like you know, and I don’t think it’s because he don’t want to hurt her, because he has already killed her a lot of times
When he’s not trying to kill her, they’re pretty cute and hey Flaky might probably be the one to help Flippy with his problem. Cause let’s face it, he’s got a lot of problems. Mostly with his Fliqpy side
My opinion is they were boyfriend-girlfriend before the war. Now they are trying to recreate the relationship but Flippy has to face his new violent side and Flaky her phobias... In the first episodes, Flaky seemed to care less about Flippy double personality, so she TRUSTS him a lot, despite the evidence. Throughout the series she starts to fear Flippy, and to be really obsessed of it, meanwhile Flippy starts to have problems with his evil counterpart. Flaky seems to be the only character that can turn in some cases Fliqpy back to Flippy, but nobody knows why. Plus: they are the characters we knew the less. We know Flippy is a soldier but we don't know how many time he spent fighting. We know about Flaky's phobias but don't know what really caused them and when they came out. It's sure they had a kind of close relation in the past but we don't know how close, because they seem to be friends from the start. So I have this theory: they try so hard to become what they were before, to win the battle against their fears and their monsters to be together again. It's a theory, but I hope it can be right. ;)
@@stelladovidio-alvey6562 it's a confusing ship. People ship flaky and flippy in particular because they both have things they need help with (anxiety and PTSD) And they think they can help one another. Over time, I learned that in this show everyone kills everyone eventually, so it doesn't matter who ships who in this series because sooner or later their gonna end up killing one another. Say you shipped giggles and disco bear. Eventually one of them is gonna kill eachother. That goes for literally every character on the series. It's just how their world works. Do you understand XD sorry if it sounds confusing
@@alyyy9123 Thank you for explaining it to me, I just don't think I'll ever ship them just because I don't see them together, and because they never had a romantic relationship in the original show, but I make sure to respect other people's opinions that do, I'm just always a bit confused always about why they ship them.
Well kinda. it's a confusing ship. That particular scene doesn't really mean too much. If you all are wondering how the f is this ship even made well there's one episode called Happy Tree Friends still alive: Can't you See me smilling like that. On the video you'll guys see Flippy x Flaky scene.... Just so you know😅
My best guess is that to many people it's really cute to think about two polar opposite characters (who're both adorable to boot) being in a relationship. Thus, we get Flippy x Flaky.
@@smoothiesus9489 I respect this ship And I'd respect other shippers too But then the problem is when I find flippy x [character names that isn't flaky] video I saw many(not all) of Flippy x Flaky shipper being toxic 💀
How come flippy didnt go insane when there is literally alot of blood amd sharp objects around during the car scene and decided to help flaky instead? :00

4:54, 2:34, 1:59, 4:49 I don't know, I guess it's just those rare moments where Flippy can turn 'it' or Fliqpy off or that he doesn't just instantaneously turn (even when the circumstances could work) around Flaky.
No matter how many times he murders Flaky, I shall always ship these two. I don't know why, but some people ship them because of the saying that "Opposites Attract"
Isn't it weird/nice that flippy's and flaky's name both start with f and ends with y?! they're meant together but flippy just couldnt control his war side.
