Our problem is that we recognise anyone's talent mostly after his death,as Sahir himself said "ye basti hai murda paraston ki basti".here is a guy who is regularly writing far more intense and meaningful lyrics than most of the legendary writers of the Indian cinema, but very few are ready to give him his due credit for his exceptional genius . It's extra human by a single lyricist to score over all the lyricists .I bet if he had written these lyrics in the original movies ,he would have been the most beloved writer of our country.since very few people point out his exceptional talent, I have decided to highlight it ❤long live Ajay Sahaab .to me you are the most versatile lyricist this country has produced.your sheer range is unbelievable

Overwhelmed by your encouragement sir .it brought tears in my eyes as hardly anyone realises the hard work of the writers compared to the singers .in most of the cases people just give the credit to the singers .Sahir himself disliked it and fought for recognition.its a world where the creators are not recognised but the performers .thankful for your constant support .my deepest regards

YOU ARE PROPHETIC ,this kind of poetry is just matchless and inspiring .Ajay Sahaab is doing such a Herculean task of rewriting ,rather upgrading all the old lyrics with perfect sense of meter and thought still since he is a writer .most of the sheen and glare goes to the singers which is quite unfair .like SAHIR he deserves all the applause for his matchless creativity .I have been listening to his new lyrics as well as his original ghazals and I can vouch that he the most talented writer lyricist and had he been in the 50s as you pointed out ,he would have been the most loved and the most famous writer .sadly nowadays very few people have this kind of appreciation for the words thats why he is not getting what he truly deserves
