I walked around Harajuku.
Harajuku is a world-famous center of youth culture located in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
The streetscape is centered around Harajuku Station and includes Takeshita-dori Avenue, Jingumae, and other downtown areas, which are crowded with unique fashion buildings, select stores, and second-hand clothing stores. The Omotesando area is also lined with popular luxury brand stores.
Culturally, Omotesando is where the cutting edge of world-class street fashion swirls, and a culture centered on young people in their teens and twenties continues to emerge.
Even today, the area remains immensely popular among young people, and new culture is being created in a variety of fields, including apparel, music, and art. Harajuku can be said to be a representative of Tokyo's free and open youth culture.
