Hello brother- thanks for making this video. Very informative. Just to be be sure about a thing….the app shows luggage limit is two luggages- one medium and one small. That means we should be travelling for umrah with only two luggages despite airlines allowing 3( two checkin and one carryon). Please let me know if I understood it correctly. Thanks.

Hi salam. Can't say as I didn't have this experience. But what if you don't collect your luggage. They will keep it safe for 2-3 days on collection point.
Not right. They allow only one bag and one hand carry. Bag size not over 26" . Otherwise they charged 70 rayal over size bag no matter what. Baggages cart change 5 rayal If with poter it's cost 17 rayal. Wheel chair also charge. No free service

I asked them the same question . And they said Yes. I know few people who have earlier carried two bags In any case, there is a space on the train. But you are right, tickets say 1 bag.
There are machines available there to book. However, there are chances that tickets are not available at that time I would suggest always to book it in advance on HHR

Few doubts and I am sure you have already answers few of them .. hope you'll answer mine with your experience. 1st one - I have kids travelling and they don't have mobile shoes to scan the tickets. Can I carry print outs to scan the entry. 2nd one - my bags are above 65cms and they are 3 of them. Will they allow ?? Thank your in advance
W. salam bhai, Scanning is no issue, they do scan paper codes No one is checking bags sizes (unless its so jumbo to get under notice)... When i asked them about numbers of bags, they confirmed 1 - 25 kg and other hand carry .... So i believe, one person can carry two bags as long as sizes are not so different,.... I havnt seen weight machine
Good informative video. Jazakallah. Couple of questions which add more value to your video. Are the strict about sizing of checked luggage? What was the fare of shuttle buses from Makkah train station to Haram? Is there any shuttle arrangement’s between Madinah Station to near Masjid Nabvi?
They say only one bag is allowed of a certain size but I have traveled a lot, never been asked. So nothing to worry about Makkah and Madina haram have shuttles right outside of arrival. Its was free in haj season but it won’t be more than 10 SAR for one way trip.
North terminal is a bit far from Terminal 1. You need to take a taxi which will cost you around 70riyal to reach Jeddah Railway station. Railway station is on AIRPORT TERMINAL 1
Last year there was free bus shuttles between makkah and airport. You can get train , bus and taxis Taxis charge around 150-200. Its good option if you have less bags and upto 4 people
Shuttle service from Makkah Station to Haram changed their location. You can check in this video. Now they are dropping beside Sheraton on Jabal Makkah

How far is the Makkah station from Haram,if we hire a taxi to get to our hotel first to drop our luggage what is the expected fare,Iwill appreciate if you give some infomation for travelling to Madina by Harmain train and back to Jeddah airport
It will take max 10min om Taxi for Makkah Station to Masjid Al-Haram. Taxi fare will be between 30-50 SR depending on the vehicle type Thanks for appreciation. I have never been to Madina by train. INshAllah, next month I will make a Vlog on it.
@@withfawad I mean, can a wheel chair dependent person travel on his own wheel chair in this train or there is need to shift him from wheel chair to train seats.
Asalamualaykum very nice video Brother. Does haramain train strictly monitor size of the baggage. I mean if the suitcase is slightly longer than 65cm like if its 75 or 80cm length but width and diameter is within limit? Im worried as two of my suitcases are up to 80-90cm length with wheels.

I am very worried as we are travelling from UK so want to bring lots of items like dates gifts for people but cannot manage them in small trolley cases. Therefore we will need 3 small trolleys which are within saudi trains luggage dimensions but 2 suitcases are slighly bigger. You think i should be ok inshaAllah?
Asalam o alykum brother can you answer a question we are planning to go for Umrah next year inshallah we are flying from USA to Makkah and it's going to be a very long flight do u suggest that we stay one night in Jeddah then move forward next day to Makkah?Do we book the train trip before hand or we can do it there besides that how much are the train tickets for?
@@shireenalbalooshi8838 It is highly advisable to promptly perform Umrah to experience relief from the restrictions of Ihraam. The optimal approach is to proceed directly to your hotel in Makkah, have a short one or two-hour nap or rest, and then commence your Umrah. May Allah facilitate and accept your pilgrimage
@@shireenalbalooshi8838 instead take flight which goes directly from any destination to Madinah like Saudia from Jeddah to Madinah or Dubai to Madinah or Cairo to Madinah. For USA passenger train travel is not advisable due luggage size and number of luggage issues. Normally I come to Pakistan with all luggage and buy separate ticket for Umrah with one piece of luggage per passenger.
