After the mood becomes unsettling. Who would just open a door and leave it slowly creaking open? Surely someone you'd better be armed against. Even if it was just your friends playing tricks against you, you'd rather be armed than not.

In Lovecraft's universe, the forces of evil are never defeated. Protagonists find themselves surrounded by the evil of the old gods and succumb (or die) to madness when they realize the horror of the cosmos. Props for keeping with the tradition.

Applaud the actors for A+ performance and the crew for making such a great set. Not a fan of the special effects but the lightning from those matches blended so well. I kept thinking he was going to burn his fingers.

This was so amazing, I can't even seem to find words for it right now! Felt like a cutscene from a first-person horror adventure. Several times, I literally clung to my mouse 'cause I was awaiting a QTE.. The incredible set, the movements of the camera, his hands and everything was just perfect. Really just perfect.

We need more Lovecraft stuff! Cool perspective and awesome sound work. I think it would have been cool if after he was attuned to the sigil/rune or whatever, he walks up the stairs and sees the past version himself entering the house all over again. He then tries to avoid being seen until something drives him mad and compels him to attack and capture his past self, like some sort of time paradox.

That was amazingly done! If a whole movie was made like this, I'd so fucking watch it. I love the kind of games that are done through FP. Like, Amnesia, Evil Within, Outlast, etc. This was well paced and well made. The sounds and editing were very effective - you guys succeeded in building tension and setting the atmosphere through the sounds, as you aimed to do since you couldn't rely on the standard camera angles to do it for you. 10/10

You should do a parallel release of the video in a format that's friendly with google cardboard headsets. Doesn't have to be 3D or 360 even. This channel should jump from 25k to 100k+ subs by September at the latest because the content is sick!

Excellent short Lovecraft horror film. I like his works and you made a very enjoyable and "fitting" Lovecraft horror movie. Great atmosphere and acting, with several really creepy scenes (especially the torture scene), pretty disturbing locations, and a chilling ending. I really like watching these short horror movies on RU-vid; a great chance for new filmmakers to put up their work and show their talent. Being an aspiring screenwriter myself, I find that really enjoyable and inspiring. Keep up the great work, you are talented. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
