This is an excellent idea! I work in a commercial greenhouse and am researching to build a small home greenhouse for my home garden. This seems like an affordable first step toward climate control. I was planning to power a squirrel cage fan from my garage power, but you changed my mind!

I put one of these up 5 years ago. I added self tapping screws as well because the panel-holders seemed a bit flimsy. The panels only lasted 2 years before the sun turned them into powder. I bought some replacement panels from Home Depot which were much better quality. If I had to do it over, I would use the Harbor Freight frame, and replace the plastic panels.

I saw a video where the guy took those panels and put 6 mil plastic over the top and taped it. They lasted him over 6 years.

I’d like the cuts and plans on your build design. The wood shelving really adds some great structure to it. My hubby and I plan to get one and add some of the extras you’ve added. It looks very solid. We have high winds and tornadoes 🌪 Great job!

I bought 1 4 years ago, the larger one. Last year it blew apart when we had an especially gusty day. It bent the frame. Now im building a real one.

Nice video & great information. I purchased the HF 6x8 greenhouse in 2010. Was surprised the polycarbonate plastic cover panels yellowed and degraded so fast from the sun, even though it's claimed they are UV resistant. Eventually we replaced the panels with Solex covering which is far superior. All-in-all this little HF greenhouse is pretty good.

Great video, i’ve watched a lot of them, yours by far is the best you’re clear in your communication I can tell you know what you’re doing by the way you’ve laid everything out, that you’ve paid close attention to detail. I’m really interested in your cut list as well as the The length of self tap screws that you used for your panels, my goal is to duplicate everything that you did. Wow I LOVE your ingenuity, you are very creative and talented fine tuning this. 2X6 on the bottom is so simple yet I would’ve never thought of that. Being 6’1 a lot of issues with greenhouses I check out have a tight fit. Been thinking about a green house and this got me more excited!

I just got one. Picked up a 100w solar panel and 10A charge controller for under 100 bucks and got a marine battery, some 12v pc fans and a 5 dollar dc temp controller.

If you plant on getting, please make sure you put it on a level surface. This is so important. I bought it a few years a go and because I didn't level out the surface it wouldn't fit together right and fell apart all the time.

I’ve had mine for a few years. It was great for the first 2 yrs but over time the panels , which are honeycombed, get mildew etc between the panels and are very hard to clean. Otherwise it is a good idea but only for a few years.
