If you're in the market for a shop crane and considering the Harbor Freight model, be sure to check out my review for all the information you need to make an informed decision.
In this video (Part 1 of 2) I'll be doing an unboxing, detailed assembly and initial comparison of the Harbor Freight 2 Ton Shop Cranes (aka engine hoist & cherry picker). I will provide you with specific, detailed instructions to get your shop crane working properly. I will also save you some time during assembly because I will explain all the bolts and hardware as well as their location. The models I'm unboxing today are the 69514 and the 60388.
In Part 2 of this series I will provide detailed comparisons between the two models, some testing, modifications, upgrades and lastly a review. If you're looking for some good engine hoist mods, I think you'll be happy with the modifications and upgrades I made to my 2 ton folding engine hoist that should be helpful for the 1 ton folding shop crane too. I also provide instructions on adding hydraulic fluid and bleeding the jack (or ram) if your experiencing problems with your engine hoist not lifting properly.
Here is Part 2:
• Harbor Freight Engine ...
The Sunex 5222, Ranger RSC-2TF, Eastwood 33913, ATD 7485, Larin EH-2FB, Dragway Tools LD-E01001, Strongway 46219, DieHard DH20025, Duralast 123037, NAPA BK7761236, Power Torque Tools PT34786, and GoPlus engine hoists are all very similar (in some cases identical) to this model so these assembly instructions, modifications, and improvements should be helpful as well. These model numbers could also be helpful if you're looking to shop around a bit or if Harbor Freight does not have a store in your area.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. This is my first two videos with new video editing software and I really like some of the things I'm now able to do. If you're going to be getting one of these make sure to watch the mods I did to mine towards the end of Part 2, it really helped. Thanks for watching!
