You’ll need a replacement hose after the first year of use. They work great. I rinsed mine out after ever use and let them dry out. Pulled out of the garage this spring and the hose busted in sever places.

Just bought one on the big "A." It is a different "Brand" but everything is identical to yours, even the instructions. I will do the same testing and look forward to using it. Over the years, I found that making sure of gaskets solves leak problems, so I will not worry. The instructions say "Petroleum." It's not good to twist a cap on a gasket unless you coated the gasket with a lubricate--otherwise, the gasket will bunch up or even deform. This is not new as oil filters for autos have the same limit--and you are suppose to lubricate them before tightening the filter. I am tired of carrying a tank sprayer around...and 4 gallons goes much further. The long wand makes a difference as well.

beware! single nozzle does not adjust to steady stream. just a misting pattern. i had to frankenstein parts with my chapin 2 gal. model.used wand from that one. any ideas would be great. bought mine on sale for $19.99

You got lucky. After owning my sprayer for a couple years, I finally opened the box and took it out. First, those "instructions" really suck. Second, your unit was all put together. In my unopened box, all the parts were disassembled and I had to use the parts list and diagram to figure out where and how they all go together. I got scared until I looked inside the tank and saw a bunch more of parts. Phew, thought I was missing pieces. Somehow, you were able to figure out that that bag of parts were spare parts. It took me awhile to figure that out. I thought they were supposed to go "somewhere". I haven't used mine yet. I wanted to check RU-vid for videos like yours to see if I was putting it together correctly so far.

As for that holder for the pump handle, it kinda looks like the handle is on backwards. Like maybe it should curve in instead of out? Maybe? If you turned that hsngle, thrn ir would actually face out away from you when you pumped and probably be more comfortable. Not sure if you can get the point I'm trying to make lol.

I just bought one and was practicing with the different tips and trying it on my back. The only issue I am having is the strap with the clip keeps coming off when I’m pumping. Maybe I haVe straps too tight. I found your video looking to see if I’m mounting that strap wrong, but it seems you just clip yours on too. Have you had any issues with that clip coming off?

In Florida with the heat straps rot within a year and turn to dust. Also there is no online filter .and top strainer does not fit well and falls down in solution. Been using a tractor supply backpack for 5 years still going strong .original straps .

What do you think about using it at a family camp out for washing dishes and dirty hands?

Do you think this could be used with or without a nozzle to rinse down a very small car after washing?

Don’t know about you but the fan nozzle I got is so uneven it leaves a line along the bottom of the pattern and the top of the spray pattern barely gets misted

Had decided to stay away from H F due to behavior and intellectual theft by Chinese; broke my vow as short on money-and job deadline coming up. Cons: Sticker on tank to “tighten fittings before use” not just a “don’t put bag over head” type ridiculous warning: I actually think that leakage from the external black plastic pump piston into the black collar and onto your shirt and shoulders is why: kind of want you to blame yourself when you get roundup on you: I tightened everything as much as I could but piston stays wet as it goes up and down and after an hour of spraying it’s on you and down your leg. I’m not as freaked by RoundUp as some but definitely not using it for my next job: 12% pool bleach on sidewalks, my clothes would be destroyed. Rod and linkage to external pump looks fragile, don’t throw this into the truck like you would an Ace or H Depot internal pump backpack! Which, yeah, costs double but is what I’m replacing this with - used last one for a year no problems. Just belatedly looked at a RU-vid that they won’t be accepting this for refund ‘cause of what may be inside; and I’ll have to mail it!!! They didn’t tell me THAT at the checkout when they sold me the extended warrantee $9.99 repl. after 2 yrs deal. What a pain they know nobody will do: I’m going to drive there and try anyway since I rinsed it all out and ran the hose clean with water, but I bet they’ll pull rank and try to refuse me. Well, back to Ace and 65.00, non-leaky backpack, for bleach job. And I just washed my clothes and took a shower. “Stay on” valve clip I just saw on RU-vid is a good idea since the spring is mighty stuff on the wand valve after an hour of spraying - wish they’d noted that on the box with other features - no explanation in “instructions” for several parts they included, washers and a white plastic pulley-shaped piece, and two black clips… Pros: if you’re only watering not using chemical, the yellow sprinkler nozzle seems cool. I used the “double fan nozzle” which I’d never seen before - requires constant pumping but did seem to get both sides of Barb wire fence more easily than single would have. I easy to adjust straps operate by pull rings

This is piece of crap my friend. Plastic tubes are cracking in 2-3 month…. Had 5 of them, all of them same problem …
