A little constructive criticism. You told and showed that you have the protig, you can weld with it and you use it for a job. 👍 but you never really give a review. You’ve had it 2 years, are you happy with it? Are there things you don’t like? Has anything had to be replaced?

Hey I apologize that I omitted that stuff anyways it's worked great and I haven't had to replace anything Thanks for the comment

Tbh 2 years of use is all we need to know from harbor freight . If it’s gonna last that long it’ll do any job a fancy item of the same category does,

Trust me guys do not buy this welder it’s junk I bought one and it struck an arc once on ac and then no arc on ac after that. Works on dc but won’t strike a arc on ac high frequency cost me 200$ in a restock fee. If you don’t believe me google pro tig 200 not striking arc on ac.trust me it’s another piece of Chinese made junk.

Hey, thanks for a realistic response and a realistic opinion and a realistic review. I feel that you are spot on and also I feel that Harbor freight pulls from several different factories. And sometimes the quality control is really bad and also sometimes they just use c***** materials. Thanks again, have a great weekend.

Kool vid. If you get time try a gas lense for better gas coverage and maybe try and go a bit faster to give you a better result color. Also if you were to get a chill block for a backer it would help 2.

Hey I appreciate your comments and your insights I kind of went through the same process when I purchase this particular welder I really wish I could afford a Miller dynasty 350 but it was just out of the question and I figured it would get me by for the moment and so I feel like for what it is it's OK Thanks again

You should consider purchasing a gas fed chill bar. It will allow for better penetration, allow you to make a continuous weld and keep the metal from absorbing too much heat

I watched all the independent videos online and some talked about a three year warranty. I grabbed one yesterday and upon unboxing mine I discovered it has a 90-day warranty. This is a throw-away item. ANY item over $500 ought to have at LEAST a 1 year warranty. There was nothing on the display or the box indicating the warranty period. If Vulcan is a top-of-the-line product, it needs to compete at least at a basic level with other brands. They never offered an extended warranty. If I burn this unit in and work it for 90 days and then six months later my display goes away, the unit is completely unusable. Parts from HF are impossible to get. They don't even sell their failed units for parts. It's a $1200 crap shoot. To quote Clint Eastwood, "Do you feel lucky, punk?" HF would not accept my review with one star!

I am a fan and watch all your videos. You have some of the best videos on RU-vid for the Titanium 125. Practicing your instruction has brought my flux core welding to a proper level and has given me more confidence. Thank you.

Keep up the good work! FWIW, on those concrete finishing tools, you might want to experiment with significantly more amps + faster travel speed.

@@26feironworks79Another thought. It appears that you're working outdoors, which can be problematic for TIG since you'll need a ton Ar CFH to keep the weld protected. If you run a few parts indoors, with plenty of Ar, you'll be much happier. Remember also to clean the parts well, and consider back purging.

Don’t really need filler material that thin. But the your machine has pulse. Pulse would make life much easier for you on that project. Along with a couple pieces of scrap aluminum to clamp it to too help draw out heat. You would have little to no sanding afterwards.

There is a bunch of different variables that could be causing that you might want to go online and check out some welding forums and see what you can find, thanks.

I bought a ProTig 205 last month. I first tried using DCEN on steel and it seemed to work ok. Then switched to AC for aluminum welding and the welder would not even strike an arc. I called Technical Service and we went through Reset and also all the connections and still would not work. Due to only having the unit for a couple weeks I attempted to return the welder to Harbor Freight. They demanded that I pay a 20% restocking fee which was around $200. I resisted and tried to explain that they sold me a defective welder that never worked. They still demanded the restocking fee. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ITEM FROM HARBOR FREIGHT DUE TO THEIR REDICULOUS RETURN POLICY ON A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
