You Definitly soun like you know your Bed Liners and from what i know Herculaneum is what you said it is it’s a Polurthane based Paint that uses. Catalyst Hardner it’s made by Durabeck who sells their Paints in many Colors that have Rubber Pellets in it to make the Coating a Non Skid tTexture i used a White one to do a Boat Deck , and per Durabecks Website it is a product the Government uses on some of their Ships for a SlipResistant Floor / Deck ,Etc Durabeck does sell those special Rollers that help pick up those rubber Pellets and disperse them in a fairly Consistent pattern their Products can leo be brushed , Sprayed er he Webite i did Roll mine and it hs held up well for 25 years in a Salt Wter Enviorment. FYI i’ve sold the boat but know of its where abouts and see it often
Love to learn from people with real experience! I could see the Herculiner being good for grab on wet surfaces. However the black stuff did begin to fade quickly on a vehicle that sees very little sunlight or wheather.
