Telonics is an awesome trail that drops off from Top of the World in Laguna Beach and ends in the Laguna Canyon. Very steep and fast trail. Featuring me eating it at the bottom! Very fun trail would highly recommend!
dayumm. thats the same spot i fell today on and i knew i remember seeing a video someone else doing what i did. Its loose right now and i literally did exactly what you did today because it was either go off the trail or try sliding to stop me from falling
Hey Grant, awesome video! Random question: do you know if it's legal to park in the LCAD parking lot that you ended this ride in? Or if its permit only for students? The campus is closed, so I cant get in touch with anyone there to confirm, and I know the cops in Laguna are diligent in citing illegal parking.
Thanks, appreciate the support! I honestly have no idea, I doubt you would get a ticket, but I personally wouldn't risk it. What I would do instead is park just a little bit more down the road right in front of the U-Haul in that dirt area, that way you won't have to worry about any tickets!
After Telonics what’s the best way back up to top of the world? I’m new to the area and have ridden up stair steps and the canyon acres steep fire road but can’t seem to find the right plan for hitting stair steps telonics and car wreck all in one trip. Thanks!
What you have done is great! After dropping into the canyon there is really no easy way back up. A few other suggestions are have a buddy park somewhere in the canyon so when you're done you can drive back up to your car at Top of the World, or you can ride the bus back up. Hope this helps! Keep shredding those downhills!
Very scary fun!!! Yeah you're right, it's not on Trailforks and not easy to find! From the very top of Top of the World Park looking toward the ocean go down and slightly to the right find the fire road, and then it will be a very random unmarked shoot dropping off the right side down toward Laguna Canyon Road. Hope this helps!
I definitely recommend it, it's an awesome and difficult one! Sometimes, I used to live pretty close to these trails so it's easy for me to take a quick bike ride!
