[Hard] Demi-Fiend Boss Battle 4 Demons Only - SMT V 

Enduring Soul/Abyssal Mask/Boon Boost EX/Golden Apple +5/Debilitate +5 with filler slots has been my endgame build. A top 10 demon to use. Her early-midgame availability helps a ton. Adorable design too

I don’t get why people use idun late game just use tao

You can’t fuse Tao, so Idun’s stats are much better than hers. Idun’s Wind coverage is better than Tao’s Light coverage during this fight. Not to mention, Tao’s progress is not carried over to NG+

@@jdjgg9398 there's an ability later which u can give ur demons extra stats when level up. So the stats would eventually outclass Tao by miles, n not to mention u can't carry Tao to NG+ until near the ending.

He played 15 times, raised his vitality to 400, and Gaea Rage did like 280 damage

It’s an incredible game. I was on the fence about getting it and ended up putting 80hrs into it within the first 10 days or so. And I’m not that type of gamer either. I’m usually much more casual, but this game sucked me in

It's a little lacking in the story departement, and have some slight performance issue, but everything else is great.

@@nesoukkefka1741 I think the performance issues will be present in every non-nintendo Game for the switch, but the Story department was the only downer to it overall. It got better, but only at the summit onward. And the only characters who felt badly written were the human ones. Tao's was even atleast OK when she became a Demon companion. Everything non-Demon related was just.... Off, rushed and unfinished.

I want to get it as well but have a mortgage and other bills to pay as well as a wife and kids and 2 cars to insure but maybe it'll be released on Steam someday like 3, who knows? 2 holds up really well to this day and 4 is one of my all time favorites on my old 3DSxl.

It's just a key item that signifies you beat him. The real reward of beating Demi-Fiend is his Essence

I mainly focused on getting high stats on her, then looked up which Essences had the skills I wanted. The Warriors Conception and Prayer miracles can allow for fused Demons to have really high stats

not that ive seen but if he did.....i can only imagine he flips out and spams gaea rage XD

I mainly got the skills via Essences. When fusing, I had the Warrior's Conception/Prayer miracles to get increased stats on Idun. Levelling up her fusion components (Ame-no-Uzume, Hua Po and Parvati) beforehand helps as well.

Trumpeter. Mother Harlot, Metatron, Sandalphon are also good choices

Great Mana Spring + Stamina Incense I believe You can farm incense with your navigators, Hua Po has the highest chance of finding incense

Great Mana Spring, and I think I’ve used every Stamina Incense I’ve gotten on her. Incenses are hard to get, but mainly quests, Miman rewards and from navi Demons

@@bainz the area odaiba in Da'at Minato, which you can unlock from accepting a quest in Da'at Taito, has for me atleast the highest amount of sutras and incenses dropped. I tried it out with Amanozako and Aitvaras and both got me a bunch of sutras and even a nice stack of Vitality-Incense, even Amanozakos chance of finding a Demon was almost non-existent in that area.

I just put Great Mana Spring with Spirit Drain. Probably not good for Demi Fiend because you want to be constantly doing damage, but I’m not there yet, and I’ll change her build às necessary when I get there.

where can you find that many incenses? People have there stats maxed like crazy and i cant seem to find any.

@@tunn6733 Just farm Mitamas, is not that time consuming as you migh think.

@@tunn6733 I think every mitamas has a chance of dropping except the blue one, also you can farm gems and trade them with Queen Mab.

they red and black ones drop gospels and Grimoires

Yeah, if you use Accursed Poison on the turn his HP drops below 50%, it'll always apply Seal and stop the heal

@@bainz 3rd Plathrough finally beat him on Hard Mode thanks to that Accursed Poisen/Zhuque. Zhuque didn’t last in very long but since his Magatsuhi is worth 30,000 damage he’s definitely MVP lol!

It's still using up 107 MP. I used a bunch of Stamina Incenses to raise Idun's MP stat. Increasing Idun's healing skill potential reduces the cost of Golden Apple from 126 to 107

He’ll always heal at half HP. Which is why you use Accursed Poison on the turn he drops below half to seal him, preventing the heal

@@bainz Thanks bro I manage to win after my 20th or so try! Didn't go as smooth (had to switch to 4 other demons) but managed to pull it through in the end.

Most likely mana issues since its a really long fight.

Also press turns help. A lot.

I assume for the the Avian/Raptor Magatsuhi skill "Accursed Poison" is just poorly balanced. Debilitate + 90 percent of the time AOE Sealing is braindead. If you do it at the right time, you can skip Demi Fiends' Mediarahan turn. Edit: Just got to 13:07. Yep.

Yoshitsune is not good in this fight bc of random targeting. Zhuque is better than Cleo here bc of Accursed Poison and Fire coverage > Ice coverage

Enduring Soul on everyone, Whittled Goat item for MC, pray. Revival Chant on MC is not bad also in case anyone dies

Me haha, and i very much regret it, the skills he gets are very much physically orientated But until i beat this demi fiend, i wont have a good skill to actually use for those stats

It'd take like double the amount of time bc no Tandava and Golden Apple. Shiva and Idun are better than any of the DLC Demons

Uh, not really. Danu’s skill is situationally useful (when you’re debuffed/statused). Whereas Idun’s is useful every turn. And Wind coverage is better than Ice in this fight. You can run her, it’s just not as good

Yes, it's after 6 actions. He acts twice per turn, which means he casts it after 3 turns.

Because Accursed Poison is required to skip Mediarahan and fire coverage is pretty good in this fight.
