thxfor the vid. Not clear yet why is this better than an external ssd? For me was good two partitions because of the Monterey update. I keep Big sur in another partition and can use this for some apps

So I have a partion question, I just purchased a new 2 TB SSD laptop AND upon opening disk management I have Disk 0 476.81 gbs and Disk 1 1907.61 gbs. I understand Disk 1 is the 2 TBs mentioned in specs. what is Disk 0? The 476 gbs takes me well over the 2Tbs. I opened a older 1 TB laptop and noticed it’s the exact same situation. Thanks in advance for your help.

Read it carefully, it's not "476gb", it's "0.476gb", that's around 450mb. Im guessing that partition is used to store metadata for the hard drive, so just ignore it

1:23 I believe you can’t have more than 4 partitions per hard drive not including extended and logical
