These "My team would've kicked their ass" comments are so annoying. If your high school would've really beat them as bad you say, why aren't they on here?
@@Rogue-Studios kinda true. There’s a reason theres “home field advantage” ain’t saying kahuku could’ve won but it could’ve been a much better game. But St Louis Hawaii could’ve beat them
@@jusmadeitt It all depends on skill and focus. I as a player would know that, because at away games we still win even if the odds are against us. I mean our 12-0 count would prove that enough as it is.
If Texas had a recruited high school football team heck they would dominate. Bishop Gorman and IMG get the recruit from all over there state. Teams in Texas like Allen only get the kids from that community. Texas power house teams makes good football player. They don't go searching for them and beg them to come play.
Too bad Kahuku didn't win, everybody in Hawaii wanted them to win, even me but I also had my doubts because bishop Gorman is a really good team Mainland football is way different from Hawaii, it's too fast and strategic but Hawaii has smashmouth football which does not have chance with speed I'm glad Kahuku had a chance to represent Hawaii, some of the players from Gorman are from Hawaii so it was such an exilerating game On the other hand, that quarterback is really good but he is too cocky, it's unreal to think that he could've played in Hawaii but he went back to Vegas to play for BG
Scionium Scion did you not watch the game live or the exclusive game footage He came out cocky, was showboating and talking mad shit the whole time, didn't even shake hands during the coin flip but the all the times he got lit up in the back field, he didn't say anything but I gotta respect that he is talented but is no where near classy
Scionium Scion watch his documentary on qb1. Lots of people hate him bc he isn’t a humbled person but a privileged white kid. Personally I think BG would lose to St. Louis today, or even millilani, they just had a good qb. Hated reading your other comments
Why don't you all think of what the parents sacrifice to send their kids to the school. We wanted better than what we had and it WAS NOT easy by any means. We worked very hard, no recruiting, and the kids had at least 12 hours a day at school for work and sports. You ALL might want to think about that before you state your comments as you are making the kids feel worse for what their parents are trying to provide for them. It is our choice, NOT yours.
a lot of people in vegas dont like Gorman's team. because they are too BIG HEADED! AND KAHUKU DONT RECRUIT ANYONE. a lot of workers and in vegas and people out side like kahuku because they was very very humbled and great full to play and great team like Gorman. in hawaii we have a loooottt of respect for all teams and players after the game and before..
Papi Shadd gorman and grayson were supposed to play this past season but it ended it up falling through. I guess gorman didn't want to make that trip to the south
tj baby - IMG academy is basically a California team who just happens to be in Florida. Since all their starters are transfers from Cali. And Bishop Gorman only recruits from Cali and Hawaii, the rest of their players are local talents.
Img would win. Aquinas is nowhere on the level of Gorman and only lost by 1. Don't get me wrong, Aquinas has a really good football program, but they don't have any star players that I have heard about that really makes up the program.
Bishop Gorman recruits from all over the country including 3 starters from Hawaii, one of them being the best player on their defense. Kahuku is a public school, and such a small town they don't even have a Walmart.
The Kahuku team in the video featured 3 linemen from California, RB from Utah, LB from Texas and WR from Amerika Samoa. They might not have been scouted and recruited, but were brought to KHS by family members specifically to play football.
Jus A Dude From Carson east and Bingham are public schools too. They still whooped kahuku’s ass. Stay on the island where you’re good at. Don’t come up and play with the big dawgs.
I'm from Hawaii and its kinda unfair cause of an island with only 1million people on it and on top of that, kahukus on the more farmland side off the island. they don't get to recruit players
Who says Kahuku can't recruit? It's as easy as getting on the phone with your family in Samoa/Tonga/Texas/Utah/California or even other places in Hawaii, and offering to house their sons if they become a red raider.
Nero49er but kahuku only recruits from Oahu & Samoa. Unlike a lot of mainland teams, they recruit from multiple states (example: California, Nevada, Utah, Florida, etc.) Athletic programs in Hawaii aren't as exposed to the best type of training or coaching as much as mainland kids do. Gotta give kahuku props because they ball with homegrown kids from the islands 💯
