I started watching your Hardoff videos all those years ago. Now I'm living in Japan myself and have made many journeys to Hardoff. It's a truly amazing store. It's too bad I don't have any room to fit all the stuff I could get there.

I'm convinced that if a game collector from the west walked in to a typical Hard -Off in Japan with 1000 bucks, it would be so easy to leave the store with a huge collection of great games! Super Famicom games for a buck, game consoles for 50$ or less, it wouldn't surprise me if not a single game gets thrown away in Japan because there is just so much quantity to be found! Great video Luke, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I've been watching your old hard off vids wondering if you were ever going to upload a new one 🖤👌

This was a fun coincidence, I just went on my first 'wild' game hunt since COVID myself this past week. Like yourself didn't pick anything up but it was great to get out and about again. Great to hear from you and see Hard-Off again, always interesting to see the difference in used game markets and the kind of 'kitchen sink' approach of 'it's here if you wanna look for it' of Hard-Off. UK stores it's rare that deep diving really nets you anything, plus it was very exciting to see things like Ghost Head that are unobtainium here just sitting out on shelves in pristine condition lol.

Luke going to Hard Off! Man, this brings me back to you earlier videos ❤️ and when I started diving into retro gaming. Nostalgia! I enjoy the content on your channel lately. Besides VGA and Component/ D-Terminal, do any of those older LCD TV's have any sort of 'legacy' connectors that carry RGB (JP21, AV Multi, etc), natively? I suppose they weren't even that common when CRT's were still about..have I just answered my own question? Probably! xD
