The fact he was so dedicated and chose to write his own lyrics while working with 36 mafia made this movie even more greater they literally owned the Oscar
If Rocky was a rapper, pimp and drug dealer. Love this scene, especially Shug's reaction when she hears how beautiful her voice is and, gets the spark that maybe her life's not hopeless after all, really hits me. I'm not a rap music fan but I love this movie and this tune.
Seriously one of my favorite movies. Seen it so many times. Still bawl like a baby at the church scene where the choir lady sings. Like. A. Baby Every time. If you haven't seen it... see it!
Not going to lie this is definitely the foundation of Empire. Terrence killed this roll. Me during 2020 and all the madness - I done seen some crazy thangs in these streets -
Man when Katrina came this is all me and my brother watched and found comfort in until services were restored to the city we was at ground zero and only had a generator for power for 2 weeks in New Orleans, I will forever love this movie😇...
My bad if this is a stupid question but does empire actually have anything to do with hustle and flow? Ain't seen empire but I know taraji and Terence are in it
Academy Awards Countdown: Best Original Song: "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" from "Hustle & Flow"...2005. Thanks for the upload, Movieclips. Blessings
That process... that magic of making a beat from nothing and creating... then adding ideas... then words to those ideas and making a song.... from nothing.... no better feeling in the world.
I'm a middle aged white guy that grew up on 80s hair bands and for a rapp song I have to say I like this song some young guys had this song on and I came in and started singing it an it blew their minds
In fact, this film won an Oscar for Best Original Song... Of course for this song 🥰🌆🎤 Specially, Terrence Howard had Golden Globes, Critics Choise, and Oscar nominations for Best Actor, won the Critic's Choise Award for Best Song, as well as several nominations for Best Motion Picture Drama... won the Critic's Choise Award for Best Song, as well as several nominations for Best Motion Picture Drama... Another important award was a nomination for Best Ensemble at the SAG Awards... Of course there are other awards, but these are the most important ones he had
am i the only that got this crazy theory that maybe after terrence and taraji's characters on this movie are the same characters in empire and this was the start but they changed their name to be protected from the street and then empire happened and that fat guy is bunkie but they couldnt get him
