The horizontal slash doesn't actually hit behind her even in P2 onwards, its the green skulls that do. If you stand VERY closely behind her during this attack you can actually completely avoid damage without having to jump/duck. The easiest way to gauge this imo is to put your character's head right in the middle of her hair. For purple/green, its also worth noting that the spikes will increase/decrease in height as they travel outward depending on if they're green or purple, which means even if you're unable to get into the safe spot in front/behind her, you can up jump and blink to stay out of the hitbox.

would you recommend Adele for a player trying to switch up to a more engaging class? (as opposed to Dawn Warrior...) is it currently decent to main still considering nerfs and balances?
Ye for sure. I would say it has above average damage as long as you play the class properly xd And Adele has remained the same for a while now in terms of buffs and nerfs. Nexon has just been giving us qol changes that’s it. Are other classes stronger? Yes but that doesn’t mean Adele is super weak by any means.
