It's a very beautiful profession. Vital, for a clean society. On the other hand, I don't understand why there are skips hidden in enclosures, which requires you to get out of the truck to take out these skips, and put them in front of the truck. In addition, these enclosures are littered with waste on the ground. This is not respectful of your profession, and it is not logical given the fact that the dumpster is not directly accessible from your truck. I am surprised that there are no laws to regulate the disposal of this type of dumpster.
This can indeed be a tedious job. It’s not always peaches and cream. Those dumpsters on wheels can get very heavy, especially if they’re the metal ones.
