I was wondering if you were trying to go for the Platinum for this game? If so, do you recommend trying standard first? (This is my first time playing RE:4)

I am going for platinum. I plan to get the hardcore walkthrough done, then follow that up with a professional walkthrough and any remaining trophies/challenges after that. If you plan to platinum, then start with hardcore because by the end of it you’ll be ready for professional mode more so than if you went on standard. You have to do professional at some point so best to get warmed up that way imo. If you aren’t platinuming the game then sure standard is fine, I’m gearing this walkthrough for any skill level tho so hopefully even hardcore will make sense. I try to give advice at each tough spot along the way.
