A few things about hardcore: There is a global 15 second respawn cycle, so your respawn time is based on how many seconds to the next respawn. If you watch the scoreboard you will see all the dogtags clear at the same time for both teams. Nukes are much harder because you can only kill a max of the full team roster every 15 seconds, making chopper gunner and AC130 much less effective. But at the same time you don't have them respawning instantly with stingers. And IIRC you have a lower ammo loadout, but not sure.
Hardcore game modes in MW2 feel like a game of chess. The players with better strategies will fare better than all-out aggressiveness. Just gotta be careful about friendly fire because your teammates can turn their back on you for revenge! Camping can be a problem too though.
YES. I've been wanting to see this for years! Don't know if it was me that left the OG comment but I definitely remember talking about the FAL being a beast in hardcore. My friends and I used to spend hours on this. I remember working retail at the time and my manager and I would literally draw maps with pen and paper and plan out how we were going to play the map. Such good memories. Never was able to get a Nuke. Went 24-0 once on Afghan but my connection lagged during the chopper gunner. Thanks for the upload!
I like the fact for hardcore, there’s extra bullet damage… so the stopping power perk wouldn’t really benefit as highly as it does for normal matches. Which gives more scope and reason to use the others, hardline etc.
No need to when it’s gonna be horrible. It’s literally recycled maps we’ve played on b4 and feature that’s should’ve never been removed (regular minimap for example). No one should trust sledgehammer after that disastrous game which was Vanguard.
@@dlang26 ehhh everyone has been bitching and moaning about wanting a remake of MW2 and honestly this looks to be it. Yeah, it's gonna have the regular COD BS we all know but this looks so far like the best one we have had since BO4. Obviously we don't know and won't know that until it's out but gameplay wise it looks good

You should play hardcore TDM on WWII. It’s populated, a ton of fun, but there are TONS of campers. I played the hell out of it the last 2 years, and it became my favorite Cod multiplayer in recent memory
Yo you should do a Random Class Challenge and go through all of the game modes and get a nuke on them all. (Or the ones that are populated enough to get a nuke on) randomising class every time you get a nuke on the game mode

Dude try Barebones. I used to play that mode all the time. I just loved not dying to 1000 different streaks for a round. Games last soooo long too. Also ground war man. Ground war was the hard opposite
I remember years ago a teammate Killed me for my care package. Unfortunately for him when I ran care package I always put a tac Insert down close by hidden I came back killed him and got my AC130. 😅

I don't think it's a coincidence either. They are trying to slip OG MW2 and OG cods in general under the rug so we buy their new garbage. They realized if they shut down the 360 servers people would have no choice but to look up what the newest COD playable on the Xbox One is and figure the nostalgia might win people over. Sad.
