Great mix, every tune is a hardcore classic.. The mix between dark and light around this time for me, was the most interesting throughout dance music... Its a pity it faded away and prigressed to other music..
So honestly, Ruff by D Force is one of those tracks that reminds me of looking through a cloud of dry ice and Lazer lights only to see my feet going bat sh$t insane beneath me as I glide across the dance floor 😂
@@The_Knackered_Raver I spent my best years in the UK from age 11 to 30 something. Was raving from 14 years old 🤣 - Lazerdrome, Orange, Astoria, Liberty, Bagley's, Labyrinth, you name it! Here we had Hip Hop RnB Reggae and Dancehall but no Jumping Jack Frost or DJ Ron - I need to come back and do one of those Renaissance events!

Thanks mate. Yeah I've got a whole stash of DnB 96 to 02 but a very limited stash of the very best era (imo) of 1993, which is when I was all about the tape packs lol. I managed to pick up The Touch just last week actually. Good to have that. Thanks for tuning in and hope the mixing wasn't too rogue lol.
I actually have to check what is old school rave. To me, it decently sounds more like jungle/dnb/"tracker" music because of the same drums sample. But this are good mixes.
Thanks for listening. This is hardcore rave. It kind of peaked at this point (1993) before splitting into different genres...the darker jungle (which evolved into DnB) and happy hardcore (which turned very silly and over the top IMO).
I didn't do long on here commenting on first couple of tracks before the battery died: then I had to start again here recharged, and in the end i focused on the entire mix rather than just the knite force element. Fucking lovely mix. This truly was ace! Enjoyed listening and dancing around my kitchen making big batch of food, seemed quick after vibing on this mix! Great gob! Subbed and ready for more 🤗🤗🤗

Yeah what a lovely tune. Happy and dark! It's called Fugitive on Underdog Records. This is one of the tunes I've picked up relatively recently and, like you say, I owe a lot to Jake and Micky Beam for helping to FINALLY I.d some of these tunes.
