I'm not trying to be a hater, just trying to help. But here are some tips to make things more efficient, and easier for yourself in the long run, and to streamline everything in general: 1: Making a bed should be above building an actual structure 2: Secure a reliable food source early on 3: Replant your trees (better yet make a tree farm) 4: When you mine for iron only go down to y=45 or so (this can double as your coal mine) 5: Don't dig straight down without ladders (or just make a staircase) or make a water column 6: When making a staircase make it at least 4 blocks high (5 high if you're going to use stair blocks) 7: Don't plug up your mine because redigging wastes durability 8: If you are so inclined to make charcoal instead of mining for coal use it as fuel in your furnace instead of planks 9: If you have to use planks in your furnace use slabs instead since they burn for the same amount of time as the full block (weird Minecraft mechanic, I know, get used to it) 10: Coal and charcoal both burn 16 blocks so if you have less than that then put it all in one furnace so you don't waste coal 11: Collect materials in a chest before you start to build a structure 12: Be liberal with torch placement, mobs will spawn in your mine if you dont. a mob fight in your mine is never fun
