So to sum everything up: Federal election interference case: Delayed until the supreme court "deliberates" over presidential immunity claim when the lower courts basically laughed it out of court and only the two bought justices (thomas and alito) seem interested in saying anything but no Georgia election case: Being delayed on appeal because Fani WIllis decided to hire her boy-toy as a special prosecutor. Not because of anything wrong with the case itself. Just things surrounding Fani and said boy-toy Florida classified documents case: being delayed indefinitely because "the court has to deal with things surrounding the nature of the classified documents" or something like that but we all know that Cannon is very clearly in Trump's pocket and will do whatever it takes to get Trump off regardless of how stacked the evidence is against him. Stormy Daniels hush money/business document forgery case: Is chugging along just fine and has Trump very close to being sent to jail for contempt. If you would've told me at the beginning of the year that out of all the serious stuff Donald Trump's being accused of the Stormy Daniels payoff would be the only one to survive and yield anything, I would've laughed in your face. Definitely didn't have that on my Last Year of American Democracy bingo card but here we are.
