Technical skill is only one part of music.....but it's a part that I love. I just have the utmost appreciation for those with MASSIVE technical skill. Which aside from the comedy is why I really liked Davie's channel. It wasn't just "a bass channel". Davie is a REALLY good bassist. But Charles.....you are on a different planet. You deserve every accolade here. I'm a pretty good bassist, but I'm not in either of your zip codes....I also appreciate the humbleness of both of you. There's the schtick ego but underneath both of you just stand on your massive talents and the JOY you apply to your art is so awesome. It just makes it so fun to watch. Huge props to you dude.

It's actually insane how much Charles has levelled up in every aspect (playing, composition, production, tone, video editing, on screen charisma, etc.) since posting this video. when i was growing up ( long time ago ) im 53 now , i started playing bass and my idol was stanley clarke , it used to blow my mind how he got the sounds and played such killer chords , and his finger and plucking skills were at the time mind blowing to me , but watching you is just next level , im just fixated on your techniques , just amazing ..

I discovered you a short bit back but WoW! I love bass but you're an inspiration as I keep being told my hands and whatnot are finished but after many many kids I just had to mention that I am so grateful not just for showing the world the side of bass guitar that gets overlooked except for bassists and I love this style but I'm so thankful to anyone who has Severe Neuropathic damage that has been able-bod... ugh not that, who has pushed far beyond driven and may have tips as I am lucky to still have some utilities it's just slap is no problem it's just pressing frets that cause agonizing pain up into my body that causes dropping and frustrangre as I used to but I know through this there's got to be way as I can't be the first! But above all, thank you so much! I want my bass playing back but inspiration sparks and then to create so that we can help(4grieve my terrible grammitacil errors as I am still getting the whole alive thing going) as Thank you everyone! Bass idk it's just a very below above and beyond anything(This one drums as well but post flat line can't double kick anymore but any advice on how to press frets without this neuropathy pain going under fingernails up into hand through arm... so on but thank you!!!)

I've been playing the bass for something like 26 years, but as with too many things, life gets in the way and it's been sitting around in storage for maybe 5 years :( however between you & Davie504 you have reignighted my love of the bass and I'm playing every day again :D thanks and keep up the good work :D
