This is the same as in the lines of the Soviet poet Mandelstam: “We live without feeling the country beneath us” - for this poem about Stalin’s personality cult, the poet was sent to hard labor and died in 1933. “My body is scarred, and my palm is covered in dirt, I am looking for my home and roots like you” - here the lyrical heroine addresses those who support what is happening. At the same time, the Orthodox priest salutes - this means that the church in Russia is placed in the service of the state, this began back in the Soviet Union - you could not be a priest if you were not an agent or informant of the KGB, now there is reason to believe that many priests, especially of the highest ranks, are connected with the FSB . “the air around is getting stifling every year” - in Russia, since 2001, there has been a systematic destruction of democratic institutions, but since 2014 this has become especially noticeable; in 2022, all independent media were destroyed and a ban on freedom of speech was actually introduced. "I don't want to kill people" is an anti-war protest, obviously. The video shows the death of the husband and the fact that the child is being raised as a millitarian. “They enter my house without an invitation, a new word and a new law” - many repressive laws were adopted in 2022. Searches are being carried out in the houses of oppositionists and simply people who openly express their disagreement with the “party policy.” In the video, the heroes are in the form of pioneers (schoolchildren or students) - they read the Russian Constitution, which is taken away from them and replaced with grenades. At the end we see the same “children” already in military uniform who run across the battlefield and shoot at various cute things symbolizing liberal values that are hated by actocracy. In a nutshell, this song is about state fascism.

I LOVE THEM. You should ten out of ten check out their song “worms” with Kim Dracula or “Сказка” or in English fairy tale. It’s really good! Or “kiss of death” and “dead but pretty” those are good songs too. All of their songs are good but those stand out to me the most! Also this song is about war and people being trained and her husband (I think) was sent off after their wedding and she ended up having a kid and her husband died in war (or training) she was sad and she never felt like her family was her family after that. Then she sends her son to get revenge on the people who took her husband I think. Also how war nothing happy survives and is never there and that people are trained to kill those emotions to maybe feel less guilty in war. That’s what my intake on this and THANK YOU!
