Sophomore 6’0 190 lbs
There may not be a more exciting thing to see on a football field than to see a player lay a hard clean hit. The sound of the hit that can be heard throughout the stadium gets the crowd going. Luckily for college football fans, Pitt Safety Paris Ford does this consistently. He might be the hardest hitting player in the country. With that being said, Ford isn’t just a hard hitter. He makes plays in the backfield & has the ability to drop back in coverage and defend passes.

NtheNow I’m 30, I remember him very well playing against my Steelers. Yeah he’d step up on guys coming across the middle but his big hits were wack compared to this guys. No comparison in that sense. Reed liked to come up and use his arms a lot to push. This dude puts his shoulders into people and drives them. Reed didn’t do too much of that. Not knocking reed in any way.

Lacks elite speed and change of direction, but he's instinctual has good burst and is mother f'n thumper. I'm guessing 4.5-4.6 speed, which will get better in time. Definitely a sleeper low 1st - high 2nd round in the box safety.
