since this is a summer car, you should have taken a Fully synthethic 10W60 oil. 5W30 is the same viscosity as my 15 years old Audi. I mean, it's not wrong, but it ain't the best suited oil for these hot high performance engines.

Beautiful cah! But yes, that's called dry-sump cars. A pain in the butt to change the oil on. I'm not sure I would have put the flush in it because of the very specific engine it has, that couldn't stand a slightly different viscosity from what it's designed for plus it is low mileage, and it's Italian so... not Camry-robust, but I hope Hamlet gives us an update on how it works out for that car 👍 If one day you have the chance to do it on a Bugatti, sorry, it will be even harder... 😂

I find with shell premium gas you dont really need fuel injector cleaner. i noticed no improvement

I couldnt imagine that "vw" would be that pain in the a$$ for just a simple job like oil change.

The McLaren 720s is just as bad. Not as many drain bolts but there’s no dipstick, you have to remove turbo feed lines, and it takes an hour to top off the oil once everything else is done. One of these days a manufacturer will design an exotic for drivers and mechanics alike. The majority of owners take their cars to independent shops anyways even if they can afford the dealership so the self rewarding engineering makes zero sense. On a McLaren Senna (fancy 720s) the rear glass has to come out every time an oil change is done.
