If you like this type of music, you should try listening out Axl rudi pell. A little bit harder but with the same singer as in Hardline. Also remarkable is the guitarplayer and the head of the band Axl rudi. Sonds like the 80`s.
@theladder12 Thier 2nd album was just as good as the first. Y is an awesome ballad. Face the Night, Weight, Way it is, Way it Goes. All damn good songs. I was just as impressed by the 2nd as I was the 1st
Did anyone here know that the vocalist Johnny Gioeli is curently in a band called Crush 40? You guys should check them out. And... i guess Hardline`s ok, but some like one thing, some like the other, right?

Agree. Nirvana killed metal, and Taylor Swift killed country and turned it into pop. Everyone saw how filthy rich she got crossing genres and immediately began imitating.
Journey was on hiatus from 1987 to 1996 and in that time Schon was a part of Bad English, Hardline, and his own solo stuff. Journey reconvened in 1996 and that's when Perry permanently departed the band.
Nirvana wasn't the problem. The hair bands were all played out by that time. I love Hardline's music. The music industry just loves to milk everything dry and then leave it for dead. I like a variety and thought Nirvana was pretty good, but Soundgarden and PJ were my faves.
