Sea Otter FINALLY happened again!! It was awesome to be back. I saw there was a hardtail class in the downhill back in 2019 so I HAD to give it a try. It was a TON of fun!

You should come out some year and ride the course. I use to live out there and it's super tame compared to AZ.

Take a DH bike to an XC race, and do the opposite. I bet your body will feel miserable but in the inside you know what you just did, and so will the others behind you.

Awesome on a second place finish on a hardtail. Love it! Passing the guy on a DH rig made me laugh a bit. How far behind the guy who placed first? It looked windy af.

I think it was 3 or 4 sec so pretty significant! I’m pretty sure he won his Cat 1 20-29 Dh class as well!

After watching Blake Samson of GMBN race Megavalanche on a hardtail and You getting a 2nd place finish in a downhill race on a hardtail, who needs full suspension? I don't race, but I absolutely love my plus hardtail.....Great job Jeff!

Pretty good way to prove yet again, that "Slow n Smooth, Smooth is Fast" expression is legit. You focus on the slow and technical and it usually adds up to fast overall 💪👍 Love it, learning so much from these vids and your channel. Thank you for the knowledge!

Doing an xc race in the middle of Nov . I have done 3 leading to broken ribs and mechanicals . This will be my first sport division doing it on my budget hardtail . Looking to having my first clean race hopefully . Maybe a gluten for punishment . Well done Jeff . It's nice to test ourselves once in a while with a competition .

That trail looks like a dream to ride. Have pretty much the same exact same bike w/ same tires but higher BB and my FS has been collecting dust ever since. Congratulations.

It's a shame that after sea otter you can ride on it. Edit: typo I meant you can't ride the course. I'm pretty sure part of that was due to the fact that the course was close to the shooting range.
