Hardy, Morgan Wallen and Post Malone perform 'John Deere Green' and 'Pickup Man' live at 'The 57th Annual CMA Awards' WED NOV 8 on ABC and Streaming Next Day on Hulu.
I love Morgan’s voice, but damn, there’s nothing Post cannot do or sing, there’s something so sweet and humble about post Malone. Loved him since White Iverson
His voice just has so much character in it. It's not perfect singing in anyway. But perfects boring, every church has perfect singers. It's the character in the voice that they lack.
Morgan and Hardy sounded like some bros who decided to do a song they been practicing since they almost went pro in high school football. Posty, absolutely shut it down. Overall a great watch, Hopefully Post Malone does more of this.
Post originally wanted to do country music, his old RU-vid channel was him with an acoustic doing country covers. But he got zero recognition even before the face tattoos because he wasn’t a “typical country boy” then he became what he is today…..now I think it’s time for him to make that country album 👏🏼
He was In several rock bands and even tried out for crown the empire, if you haven’t already check out his rock covers he did a whole nirvana set during quarantine!
Puts a smile to my face seeing artists get up on that stage smiling and having a good time country music is simple doesn’t need glitz and glamour just needs that good country soul feel makes you wanna kick up the dirt drink a beer and enjoy life! Well done!
Post malone stole the show his personality hes a natural entertainer doesn't have to force anything he genuinely looks like hes loving what hes doing with confidence and draws the crowd in 🥰
His face and hands turn me off. Why would someone disfigure theirselves?! Maybe he needs to go see people who have been burnt or in accidents who would give anything to be back to their looks. As for Morgan he’s great and is full of talent. Hardy was great too.
I’m such a huge fan of Hardy and Morgan Wallen. I’ve seen them before but I also LOVE Post Malone and grew up on country music. I watch this video all the time when I just need a smile. How much they love what they do really comes out on this stage. I thought seeing Hardy and Wallen together was a dream come true but if I could have seen this live I don’t think I could have a better memory.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HE'S JUST TRYING TO BE JELLY BOY 2024, JELLY BOY PRETENDS TO BE A COUNTRY STAR AND CRIES ON STAGE SHOUTING TO GET ATTENTION WHEN HES A RAPPER, POST CAN STAY AT THE BET AWARDS
@@graystone3048This isn't a great example but Post Malone can sing. Check out his covers of "I'm gonna miss her" and "You can have the Crown" with Dwight Yoakam's band.
Haters gonna hate. I would like to see you get up there and do a little karaoke. Morgan & Hardy sounds awesome & post Malone is the cherry on top. If you got something else to say about that…get to steppin somewhere else.
Wow. Post is amazing. Is there anything he can't do? Oh how I love that man. Never cared much for country music but I'll listen to anything he sings, over and over again!🤟🏻💕
Posty is just the kindest most generous artist! I love everything that guy does! And in concert he's incredible, just an absolute talent...He is literally the epitome of Dont judge a book by its cover. Fatherhood looks good on him.
If only he would get off Drugs and alcohol and stay off for about 5 yrs and then we can talk about judging a book by its cover, bc he is exactly what you see, a tattooed freak!
@@fabianz6258 I’ve relistened to it & I think they mostly just didn’t sound good together. On their own they weren’t bad, & Wallen’s backup vocals for Posty were good.
I hope he didn't use it but some of the notes that post sang sounded suspiciously autotuned, with some weird effects when he tried to change pitch lol listen to when he says "twice before"
RIP Joe Diffie 💯 What a legend !! Post Malone is extremely talented..this man can do it all !! Country suits his voice and personality so incredibly well. Hopefully we get a full country album from Posty!!
Well I think Hardy geneousily loves country music since he's from Mississippi, but Morgan went on the voice as a rock singer so i think Morgan is a fake in country music
LMAO NO THANKS WE ALREADY HAVE JELLY BOY CRYING AND SHOUTING AND SCREAMING PRETENDING HE IS COUNTRY MUSIC, IF POST MALONE MADE A COUNTRY ALBUM HE WOULD PROBABLY COVER GARBAGE LIKE FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE AND OTHER PRETEND RAP COUNTRY ARTISTS, HE CAN STAY IN HIP HOP MUSIC, HIM AND JELLY BOY WITH THEIR UGLY FACE TATTOOS
Country honestly needs to be thankful for guys like Post Malone. These people from other genres coming in showing love is keeping country alive in relevance and money. Post always has such good energy
I'm not sure if you realized it but your post reeks of coastal elite "you bumpkins are lucky to have us come make you relevant" nonsense. Luckily, Post doesn't think that way, he appreciates country music for what it is and he's a very talented performer. But country music has been around a long time, longer than rap or rock and the big music labels that are destroying music and artistry for the sake of money. The point of music is to convey emotion, tell stories, make a point, make people think, connect with the audience, move people...not to make money. Your comment perfectly illustrates what is wrong with the mainstream music industry today. Luckily it's easier than ever for artists to make and distribute music independently. Country music doesn't need money or mainstream attention to be relevant to the people who actually enjoy that music, and that is who is important. People coming from outside and making shallow music they think is "country" is not keeping country alive. Artists like Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, and Charles Wesley Godwin are keeping country alive.
@@matthewdennis1739i might've been off base but wasn't trying to offend anyone. Country has it's own stars but no doubt someone like Post Malone brings a ton of new eyes or just more eyes to the genre. I've noticed more and more artists from other genres come to country music to get a restart (Jelly Roll, Aaron Lewis, Colbie Caillet, Darius Rucker etc) the biggest country stars that I am aware of right now is Luke Combs, Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The genre of country is at as popular as it's been since the 90s in part due to outside artists collaborating and bringing more of a general audience to Country. So Country isn't dependant on outside artists but it has definitely benefited over the past few years with non traditional country artists showing love and collaborating. Could we at least bond over Bro Country not being the dominant force in country music anymore?
@@MYBB90 I love Posty, and I love his appreciation for country music. I appreciate his musicianship and him bringing new eyes to country music. He does it right. What I don't like is the pop-mainstream bent toward making country music into something it isn't and the idea that country music needs to appeal to pop sensibilities to gain those casual fans, at the expense of the people who actually like country music. I also like when artists from other genres (Posty, Aaron Lewis, Michelle Branch, Darius Rucker) do country music for genuine reasons, I just don't like it when it's a clear cash grab or they make some crappy, shallow music with country cliches and then return to the pop world because they never actually cared about country music to begin with. If they truly love country and the storytelling aspects and the things that make country actually county it shows. I figured you didn't maybe realize how patronizing your comment could have come off, which is why I tried to have a discussion and tried not to come off as attacking you, just trying to give you something else to think about. I hope I didn't come off the wrong way, but from your response I can say its been a good, productive, civil conversation. As far as bro country, yes 100% thank god! I'm not saying I don't want pop stars to make country music, I just want them to do it because they appreciate the music and I want them to make great country music, not hollow, cliche, pandering music about drinking beer and wearing blue jeans. I really like Zach Bryan and I like the movement I see with him in country music. He may not be quite traditional in the sense of Alan Jackson or George Jones, but the guy captures the spirit of country music (as a broad umbrella term) in his storytelling and use of real instruments talking about real things.
I had to look this video up on RU-vid just to make sure it was Post Malone because I saw it on Apple Music and I was like that can’t be him. Amazing voice. Better than most country singers today.😂
its crazy to think a good 6-7 years ago we were listing to 'white iverson' on the radio and now he's a top charting artist in 2 music genres. Absolutely incredible talent out of my home town Syracuse!
@@JOLUTOYTI JUST went and listened to "Lemon Tree" cause of your comment. I loved it Soooo much!!🥹🥹 I had No idea it even existed. Your tattoo sounds beautiful. Thanks again for showing me a song I'll now be playing on repeat, lol.
@@YaMammaWarnedYa i’m glad you enjoyed it because it’s one of my favourite songs of all time! I play it multiple times a day and have done since it came out and I’m still in love with it
the biggest accomplishments for post is being accepted in all genres and even when he gets backlash or “posing” he still does it with his heart and soul in the music! glad i’m called posty as a country music lover at work!
Posty's A1 since day 1 and let me tell you.... All i want for Christmas is a "Posty Country Christmas Album" it doesn't exist but I need it. I need country Posty 😍🥰🔥💘❤️💞💕💜💫✨
Changing it to rock and pop, and not country. Country music have a different sound. Now, the majority of the music sounds the same to me as all the genres are blended. Oliver Anthony proved people wrong that the classic country sound could still sell songs and hit number 1.
@@tannerfox4474 Jon Pardi, Randall King and Justin Moore as well. Orville Peck, Tyler Childers and Colter Wall also there, but they are not signed to a Nashville record deal but to the parent company. Ian Munsick is there as well. Oliver Anthony is like the classic bluegrass country that we hear back in the 50s and 60s. Empire Records Nashville have Tenille Arts, Pat Green and Randy Houser signed to them, but they also got Adam Hood, Wyatt Flores, Waylon Payne, John Bauman, Caroline Jones, River Haven Band, Matt Koziel, Ross Cooper and Cody Hibbard. A lot of them came from the same area like CoJo with a bunch of Texas music hits.
This is what the world needs more of. People gathered and respected by their talents. The more you have talent, the more people see worth in you. And that allows them to enjoy your presence.
