Banked this guy's name in 2018, the first time I heard "Up Down" and wondered who wrote that song. Then in 2020, he came up on my Spotify algorithm and immediately correlated the name. Finally saw him open for Jason Aldean in 2021, then in a small Maryland club in 2022. He will go down as one of the most prolific songwriters of our generation. This music that's targeted for mainstream rock radio is not nearly at his capacity. Dude is a monster writer.

His older stuff was country but newer stuff is metal. Artists can change and do other styles like Aaron Lewis. Only "country" in it is his drawl and some of the content in some songs, besides that it's no less metal than other bands.

as someone who spends a lot of time making AI music "lyrics" i recognize ai lyrics when i hear them.... This wasn't wrote by a human its very juvenile for a reason. Big fan of Rock since the 70's and big fan of AI since its been available, it is what it is and im sure you wont like my comment, but i make it with a great deal of confidence just the same, this may not be AI generated music from UDIO (though its similar) but it is LYRICS made by SUNO v2 lol because in V3 they stop using those same "generic" keywords abused in these lyrics.

I like Hardy…but good lord his live vocals on the verses were rough. Also no bass player…running tracks for bass. Weak. Definitely underwhelming live performance…still a fan
