I just found out guitarist Pete Lesperance lives on my street in Toronto. We both moved in 25 years ago and never met until yesterday, when I saw him playing an acoustic guitar on his porch. I play and sing as a hobby so I stopped to chat. Had no idea he’d had such a great career. What a nice guy. Not full of himself at all.

I just came across this band a few days ago and I don't know how I missed them. Since finding them, I have been up 2 nights in a row downloading all their songs. This band and some of their songs, sounds like so many different bands, especially The Stage Dolls...Foreigner, Rick Springfield, Steelheart, Survivor, Richard Marx, Richie Sambora, Rex Smith and I could go on and on. I'm not usually into Canadian musicians, even though I am Canadian..always find them boring, but, this band has changed my perspective on that.

The singer literally left everything out on the table with this song.... every fricken' thing: balls, heart and soul.....the raw emotional connection to the lyric is so profound here. His voice reaches out and touches you in ways that are (sadly) absent from ANYTHING being put out today, especially in today's "popular music" where pretty faces are frequently autotuned, singing songs that they didn't even write....and mumble rap is the norm. Raw singing on a level like this is a thing of the past, sadly.

It is now officially August of 2024... in saying that I HAVE TO say this; I played hard rock/hair metal over and over to infinity (and still do as a 53 year old man) and I have to state this... HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THIS BAND AND THIS SONG WHEN I WAS 23?!?!? 😮 This is a beautiful (and "scary" song) with vocals and lyrics that gives a man chills 😢 Wow 😳 I've looked up a few other songs by these guys aaaaaand those are quite good too 👌 Being born in 1970, I can honestly say listening to 70s, 80s, and the proper 90s music LIKE THIS makes me feel VERY fortunate and blessed 🙌 Grunge can kiss my ass for sure 🤗
