I am an immigrant here in NZ and let me tell you this, NZ is an amazing country and I do not regret moving here. I have lived here for 12 years and will continue to live here longer. People who are being so negative about NZ are either jealous that their lame as Tv shows couldn't think of this or live in a cardboard box. LOTR isn't filmed here for sheeps you know

A guy climbed a mountain 64 years ago, with the help if a team. I'm so impressed. And LOTR is an international movie. US funding, written by a Brit, starring Brits, Americans and Aussies. Hell, even half the people at Weta aren't Kiwi

When you mentioned "Rugby, Shortland Street and Sheep" you forgot to mention that New Zealand also has the man who conquered Mount Everest and the Director of a major and iconic Film Trilogy. Both of these men have been Knighted by the Queen, I think that shows some pretty high achievements.
