@@tgchan I guess. If i’m buying a new guitar, i’d like it to play well and not look like it was just painted by a child. Just becaues the guitar plays well, i shouldn’t have to comprise the looks. It’s brand new…..

@@CMQ01 I understand your point of view but almost all guitars have technical problems so worrying about uneven paint is the least of your problems. I would take a guitar painted by a child that is technically flawless first and I hope Harle Benton focuses on that first/

@@tgchan so you’re saying that i should never care about how it looks? You can like how it plays AND how it looks. It has to hit both columns for me if i’m going to spend a around $500 CAD. Doesn’t have to be perfect but look better than the purple on this one. If you want to buy a brand new guitar that looks like shit, by all means….

​@@CMQ01 Sure you can. Look for higher prices or other brands for that though/ I really hope Harley Benton does not care about visual aspects before technical ones. If they focus on the guitars being as technically good as possible with the best hardware they can offer for the lowest possible price and what is left they spent on minor things like paint details, etc. = I will keep buying their guitars. Simple as that. For you it might be the opposite. You will not buy them because of some blob of paint or something else. Fine by me/ Once again, I really hope HB focuses on what matters the most in the instrument./ Btw. HB guitars are far from perfect in technical aspects... unfortunately... I have two at the moment and looking at the 3rd one. One is perfect (almost as the tuning keys are of low quality=lack of precision, etc. but the guitar keeps the tuning really well/) The second one fusion with EMGs came with jack plate not screwed in all the way with the screw all askew. The cables from battery compartment are so short I was barely able to exchange the batter (not to mention the connector looked cheap as hell..) Both guitars look perfect and beautiful but I wish they had some pain flaws instead of the technical problems... Also... I've had a really expensive Fender guitar and Gibson and they also had technical issues... What I am saying AGAIN... the paint job is the least of your problems. Unless you buy guitars for looks that is/ And yea... I agree it would have been great if they "... hit both columns..." but for me only one really matters/

Only if you don't know what you're doing. I am self taught with a lot of it, but the biggest thing I've learned that helped was to plan ahead and figure out the spring tension then try to attempt the tuning process. Changing string gauges and tuning can start to bug you out, but it gets easier over time. What used to take atleast 3 hours takes me 15 minutes or less. Also make sure you lubricate the mounting studs once in a while it helps with tuning stability and keeps it from getting nonfunctional.

This guitar wasn't set up for the demo. It came straight out of the box the same way any customer and played great. If you're luthier couldn't adjust anything to suit you, he can't have been that good. P.S. the amp in the video is a Yamaha 😊👍🏻
